  • you are goin pretty slow but the video was really good

  • i got his first try! but any other trick i fail haha

  • switch is the easiest trick on a wakeboard i am a fairly terrible wakeboarder but i got this trick first try

  • Dam man your so lucky you can ride both ways, i can switch but after that i go faceplant by putting all my weight on my front foot . hopefully i should master this

  • @jordanthebest2006

Hahahaha me too. I tried it yesterday and it felt so good when I thought i mastered the trick. but then I faceplanted after the trick :D

  • it is tricky - good effort - i am trying with this same move.

it is like starting again going switch - got to be done

  • A good tip that I picked up while learning this maneuver is to bring the handle to your forward foots hip. (if that makes sense)

Another couple of small tips is to not look down at your board while turning, and to try and do the maneuver fast. (unlike in this video)

  • how fast were u going

  • try to switch fast to fakie then switch back. its easier and looks wicked cool

  • Its so annoying.. I can do tricks now but im sooo limited because i cant ride with my left foot forward, Its so annoying. Ggrr

  • if your right handed you can use it to your advantage

  • Yeah i've got the same problem ;o!

  • Same here -,-

  • Just a tip. Keep your handle about 1 foot away from your waist. Better balance and just a overall better feel!

180 is the first trick on your journey to fun!:) After this you want to try a Blind 180 which is where you turn your back to the boat. Just in reverse of a 180! Then you want to try to get air then 180 in the air:)

  • lol ur going to slow it would be easier if u were goin faster and it looks lik u hav learner fins on take them off :P

  • What is learner fins? how do i take them off?

  • unscrew them, but a better board and bindings helps a lot. I have a shitty boat, but with a tower and some friend can get a decent wake and having a board that actually feels like it won't break helps. Plus you have a better ability to customize it to your likening. By good board, you can get a decent one in package for 300 or so. I'm using a LF 09 Shane with Murray bindings.

  • ok .. thanks!

  • they are to harsh comments. but your learning. i hope you are better now

  • i just learned them today... at end of day i was doing toeside 180s.. :D im only 13 btw.

  • You have nice legs

  • Thanks for all the tips. Yes, the fins are on the board while I am doing this. I don't think I am quite up to trying it "on the wake" or "in the air!" I don't think this old body would be able to take it, although I doubt face plants feel good at any age! ;)

  • if your going to switch the board around on the wake, you want the very middle of the board gliding across the wake not the fin sides. the middle is a lot easier to control because it is so smooth. or you can be a man and do it in the air, lol.

  • good. did you have the fins on your board when doing this? it's easier if you don't (or for me it is). and if right after you turn your body you bring the rope right back to your hip it will turn you fully. helping you complete it.(=

  • will try myself , Lisa ,sheffield , england.
