@esanchez5254 I am a news producer and I would like you use your video in a story that I am doing on bad customer service. Please contact me at mtomasch@abc15.com
@esanchez5254 I know you're angry with the person that posted this but both you and I know that it is perfectly legal to film people in a public location. This is something your attorney will explain to you. The employee has NO reasonable expectation of privacy being at the counter of a store. Also, the customer was not rude at any moment nor was the person filming. This video was an illustration of the frustration of a customer, not a personal attack on the employee.
@esanchez5254 - And are you so dense that you haven't figured out that I'm NOT the person who appears in the video? I'm the one who was RECORDING. Get a hint.
@esanchez5254 - Also, you can reply to these things via your mobile device now. So you can be anywhere, including work. You are an endless source of fun. :D
@esanchez5254 - He worked for Best Buy when he was in Grad School. Guess what? He graduated and got a job in his field. That is typically why people who are in college or grad school quit their retail jobs - because they finish school and get a job in the field they studied. Get a clue.
@esanchez5254 - And you're a rampant homophobe, or so your comments would make you out to be. You're the one who replied to this video. Did you really expect to just reply and have it end at that? Give me a break. Why did you feel so compelled to respond to the video in the first place? And, frankly, he had the balls to walk into the Best Buy and confront them; so what are you going on about again? Oh, right, nothing.
what happen why you left best buy? you got fired because you were too lazy? people work hard you know , you must spend all day home sitting in your couch just eating
@esanchez5254 - Read the previous comment. I guess you have nothing better to do than complain how people who expect good customer service expect too much and should be happy to give their money to stores where people don't want to do their jobs.
you don't have to make a big deal about it.call somebody ,your lawyer or something that a store doesn't answer your call because you want to be special guest what its life.
What happen if the system is not working and they have problems fixing it , it's good to ask questions!
you got any kids ? hope not what happens if they don't answer there phone god could know what could happen?
if you don't, no body wants to handle your drama life take this video of YouTube you breaking a lot of laws here
@esanchez5254 - I think we finally figured you out. You know someone or ARE someone who got in trouble as a result of this video when Best Buy corporate caught wind of it. So far, YouTube has not removed this video because it wasn't in violation of their standards. You are so insistent that the customer is wrong in having simple expectations of their experiences with a retailer that you make me sad. How can you be THIS blind to the fact that the store's staff wasn't performing up to par?
look what the problem is that your too fucking lazy to drive your ass to best buy so your friend had to drive you.
there are policy's that your not allowed to record inside a retail store without permission you said you worked there you read the policy didn't you ( looks like u were just sitting your ass in there when you worked there)
why they should fired them ,because your lazy ass could not go there
@esanchez5254 - I'm going to assume that you're one of the "lazy" employees that works at Best Buy and doesn't know how to treat customers. Why not address the REAL issue here: why are calls to the store NOT BEING ANSWERED? Is the phone system broken? If so, does anyone know/care? If not, why aren't employees answering the phones at the store? THAT is the ONE issue you aren't addressing because you are probably one of those people who avoids serving customers.
@esanchez5254 - With that said, let me answer your "concerns" one by one. First off, the reason why stores have phone numbers is so that you can CALL THEM and ask specific questions so that you don't make an unnecessary trip. This is called EFFICIENCY. Why waste over an hour driving to/from a store if the store has it in its power to tell you if they have or don't have what you want to buy from them?
@esanchez5254 - To continue... Second, your Best Buy policies are UNKNOWN to your customers. There is no sign inside your store or outside that states, "Videotaping of any sort is not allowed in Best Buy stores". Despite that, I'd hate to inform you that videotaping DOES in fact occur in your Best Buy stores. Yes, security records whatever their cameras capture so they can use the footage as evidence when they turn shoplifters over to the police. As expected, the consumer CAN'T reciprocate.
@esanchez5254 - Finally, What does your illiterate ass mean by "why they should fired them ,because your lazy ass could not go there it instated there was a limited quantity so go look for it"? I'll assume your uneducated mind wanted to ask why the clerk(s) should be fired if we couldn't go there. Obviously, your brain is damaged. We DID go to the store, little man. We drove there and went IN the store. The footage clearly shows that. So your first point is moot.
@esanchez5254 - Also, if the system says "Limited Quantity", this is EXACTLY the type of situation where the customer SHOULD CALL the store and ask questions. Because why should the customer have to waste their time, gas, and energy going on what could be a wild goose chase? This is why you are supposed to CALL STORES before you go there and why they're supposed to answer their calls.
@esanchez5254 - As for "why they should fired them", neither of us said that the clerks should be fired. All we wanted to call attention to was the fact that there was a problem with the phones at the store. We clearly stated in these comments (had you bothered to read them) that we did not know if the phone system was the problem or if the employees simply didn't want to answer the phones. Because nobody at the store wanted to listen to our concerns about the phones, the video went up.
@esanchez5254 - So do us all a favor esanchez5254 and stop acting like an illiterate seven year old when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. You are a prime example of why YouTube comments are seen as a cesspool of idiocy. I could have deleted your comment; but I didn't because I wanted people to see just how moronic people who defend poor customer service are. THESE are the problem people, folks, and they're out there right now DEFENDING their lackluster performance.
Ya I actually work at Best Buy. My store takes the phones VERY seriously! However it's crazy how many calls we get saying they tried to call anther store and was on hold for 10+ minutes.
@evangelism2 - I agree, not every store has customer service this bad. There are a lot of places with great people and great service. It's a location by location experience.
The customer service from Best Buy to Best Buy varies so much. It's stores like this one that make our lives at all the other ones hell where we actually do our jobs.
most people that complain always have something to complain about, no matter where they go. (usually in hopes of getting freebies)i have always have the best customer service and experiences at Best Buy stores, even out of the U.S. Get a life complainers!
@jadeyashleyy - And people, like you, that complain about videos where people have legitimate complaints without actually weighing the evidence in the videos is proof that people, like you, don't understand what a legitimate complaint is. Good customer service is answering the phone within a reasonable amount of time. They didn't answer the phone. We didn't want any freebies, all we wanted was for someone to answer the phone. When store management didn't seem to care, we posted this.
@jadeyashleyy - And you are yet another sockpuppet for someone who works at that Best Buy who isn't pleased with the fact that they weren't doing their job. Here's an idea, why not test your phone system to make sure that when someone calls it actually rings at the appropriate location? I mean, would it really be that hard to verify that your phone system works properly? You have certified IT folks on hand to help you. You have no excuse for not trying to fix these issues.
I did go in or maybe you missed that part. And as the video showed, the store was dead. I even said in my video that had the store been very busy, I would have understood. But of course you must have missed that in your rush to call me fatty. I know I'm fat so you don't need to tell me that. It would kind of be like me telling you that you're intellectually challenged. .
that ok , i told them this system has a defect get me a new one and the woman said that the people that repaired it where playing it for like 40 houres and said there was nothing wrong so i asked her did they even opened it up to see if there was a problem and she said no they did not have to so i said then how do they know if there is not a problem, she said cause they played the system and i said that dont cut it , now i am mad , i have emailed the head Best buy and still got nothing and the
bro i know exactly what you mean , i got Jipped from a Best Buy out hear in winnipeg manitoba canada , i bought a xbox 360 elite over 2 years ago, but i have there warranty so my HDMY cable melted in my hdmi input thingy , so i brought it to best buy and they looked at it and sent it in , so last tuseday they told me my 360 is back and accourding to the lady at best buy she said that the people that do the repairs said that theres nothing wrong well this system coulda burned my home down how is
So you say there is no vendetta against Best Buy? So are you denying you worked at the E. Colonial store and they fired you? Instead of worrying about people threatening you on here, you should be more worried about the girl in the video suing you for putting on here without her permission. I'm pretty sure they can find out who you really are. This whole video looks staged to me. You know you could've called 888-Best-Buy to complain instead of infringing the rights of others
@wcaste02 Do I deny that I worked at Best Buy? Ummmmmmmmm, no. Did you watch the video. I stated I worked at Best Buy while I was in college. No, I wasn't fired from Best Buy. I finished my MA and began a new profession. Speaking of which, I think the rep in this video should consider a new profession since she obviously doesn't like doing her job. And I wonder how I could have staged her shining example of customer service. Your right. I told her beforehand to be of no help to me
@wcaste02 and she complied so willingly. Do I worry about being sued? Not so much especially with all the other videos of similar nature on the internet. I also informed the customer service manager I had all intentions of posting the video on the web. Bottom line, if she had done her job properly, there wouldn't be a video to post. Vendetta? Hardly, I like Best Buy a lot. I just didn't appreciate the customer service I received by this employee at this store. Most are much more helpful.
@CustServLady Usually there is a shipping charge. However, when I went to purchase the item online that night, there was no shipping charge as they were running a promotion with free shipping. So you can see where the offer of free shipping was kind of not really much of an offer. And I have no vendettas against anyone which I why I never raised my voice or used curse words. I have worked in customer service in the past and I try to treat people how I would like to be treated.
@CustServLady Initially I went to Lady Lake to have the stereo installed. They didn't have the part. The rep in install was very helpful and found some places where I could find the part online. I needed to part asap as I was having the installation done for my roommate who was visiting her parents in NY. An online search showed the Ocoee store had limited quantities of what I needed. That's why I called them. A simple answer of the phone could have saved all the hassle.
Wow CustServLady and OldLadyGoo has brought ghetto to whole-nother-level!! She should be in the back of the store or in a warehouse so nobody have to be exposed to her ghetto-crap!
@CustServLady - Also, let me assure you that we never had a vendetta against BestBuy. We spend over $3k per year at that store and we're Reward Zone customers. Maybe YOU and your co-workers need to realize that when you ignore customers you run the risk of ignoring a GOOD customer and making them an EX customer. Honestly, why are you attacking us when you, your co-workers, and your website were the ones who messed up? We did everything by the book. Did you?
@CustServLady - Believe me, we would have preferred to drive to the store in Lady Lake. We weren't really looking to drive all the way to Ocoee. The only reason why we ended up going there was because the BestBuy.com system said your store was the only one in the area that had the part (the other stores in the area, including Lady Lake, were listed as "Out of Stock" -- believe me, we did our homework as best we could!).
@CustServLady - to complete a sentence from the previous comment: "you can ask your manager. HE is the one who offered to ship the part to the store for free" in response to our plight.
@CustServLady - Also, you can ask your manager. HE is the one who, after he talked to us and listened to how upset we were that we drove all the way out there simply because the BestBuy.com system said your store MIGHT have had it (and by that I mean the item was listed as "Limited Quantity" and to call the store to verify if it was actually in stock). Again, if your store would have ANSWERED ITS PHONE none of this would have happened. We aren't liars, dear; we're just customers.
@CustServLady - Did you not listen to the video? We DID check BestBuy.com and the only store listed that MIGHT have had the item was YOURS in Ocoee. If the BestBuy.com system is inaccurate, you need to tell your corporate folks to fix that. Also, we wouldn't have driven to Ocoee if you guys would have just PICKED UP THE PHONE! Really, the ONLY reason why we posted this was because your phone rang unanswered somewhere in the store and nobody could tell us where it was ringing to!
@gehennacub - Then again, considering you created this @OldLadyGoo account and @CustServLady account in the last 24 hours for the sole purpose of downrating and commenting on a video you don't like, I'm sure even if they don't think you're issuing a threat to do something violent or illegal, you've violated their Terms of Service by opening multiple accounts for the purpose of this "sock-puppetry".
@OldLadyGoo Sadly, all you have to offer is stupidity and I really have no use for that. And BTW, I'm a bear and we tend to be fat and hairy so overweight and beardly is fine by me.
... after soo many hours of explaining the same tedious things over to extremely stubborn customers you wouldn't be so cheery either. But all in all "Bill" your were a dick customer to begin with. Staying on hold just to bring it up to the first person who would acknowledge your existence, and then putting it on youtube in hopes for someone else to query for it and notice your accomplishment....
@OldLadyGoo - He wasn't on hold. He called the number, pressed the option to speak with customer service, and then the line KEPT RINGING for 50 minutes. Nobody ever picked up the phone! This is posted on here because, quite frankly, it was a tedious ordeal that did NOT need to happen. Let me reiterate: the only reason why we went to the Ocoee store was because the BestBuy.com system said Ocoee MIGHT have a part in stock. They could have told us they didn't if they had picked up the phone!
@OldLadyGoo If your job is customer service and you find customers to be pains to deal with, perhaps you should find work elsewhere. I'm sure with your vast skills there must be something you can do somewhere. And I worked at the welfare office for 8 years being called every name in the book and I still wasn't rude to people. And if you also recall, I kept the phone ringing just to see if someone would answer before we got there. I was shocked when no one did.
Where to begin, okay at 3:08 you see the real SO associate walking away. Putting all the blame on the 1 girl at customer service is kinda dickish. To be honest your neither at the customer service desk nor the geek squad counter if you noticed the guide ropes to your right you would have seen where the line BEGINS. Granted any of the customer service reps or geek squad workers should have at the very least acknowledged your presence. Also you shouldn't rag on the girls customer service skills...
@OldLadyGoo - If the 1 person at the desk had other people she was waiting on, we wouldn't have complained. But she was just standing there and actually walked away when she saw we might want her attention. The store was not busy at all. It was a ghost town in there. Why not rag on the customer service skills of a customer service agent who obviously didn't want to help us and did it begrudgingly?
@OldLadyGoo I was standing where it said to stand for the next available customer service rep. When no one acknowledged me, I walked over to the counter and the associate walked away. Her customer service skills were poor. She didn't care and made no effort to rectify the situation. I think it took about all the energy she had to lift her arm to point to the back of the store. And still, I did not say she sucked or was a bad employee. I said that on this particular day, she gave poor
@OldLadyGoo customer service on that day. I don't hate Best Buy by any means. I worked there myself in customer service while in college. They were a great company. Sadly, not every employee is going to be outstanding.
She sucked at customer service, she didn't give a shit

HE is the one who offered to ship the part to the store for free" in response to our plight.
gehennacub 11 months ago
@CustServLady - Also, you can ask your manager. HE is the one who, after he talked to us and listened to how upset we were that we drove all the way out there simply because the BestBuy.com system said your store MIGHT have had it (and by that I mean the item was listed as "Limited Quantity" and to call the store to verify if it was actually in stock). Again, if your store would have ANSWERED ITS PHONE none of this would have happened. We aren't liars, dear; we're just customers.
gehennacub 11 months ago
@CustServLady - Did you not listen to the video? We DID check BestBuy.com and the only store listed that MIGHT have had the item was YOURS in Ocoee. If the BestBuy.com system is inaccurate, you need to tell your corporate folks to fix that. Also, we wouldn't have driven to Ocoee if you guys would have just PICKED UP THE PHONE! Really, the ONLY reason why we posted this was because your phone rang unanswered somewhere in the store and nobody could tell us where it was ringing to!

.....Honestly I do hope I run into you and I have something you want, just in the hope I can crush your overweight, beardy dreams.

@OldLadyGoo - Should I forward this to YouTube's customer service team as a threat? Because it sure sounds like a threat to me.
gehennacub 11 months ago
@gehennacub - Then again, considering you created this @OldLadyGoo account and @CustServLady account in the last 24 hours for the sole purpose of downrating and commenting on a video you don't like, I'm sure even if they don't think you're issuing a threat to do something violent or illegal, you've violated their Terms of Service by opening multiple accounts for the purpose of this "sock-puppetry".
gehennacub 11 months ago
@OldLadyGoo Sadly, all you have to offer is stupidity and I really have no use for that. And BTW, I'm a bear and we tend to be fat and hairy so overweight and beardly is fine by me.

... after soo many hours of explaining the same tedious things over to extremely stubborn customers you wouldn't be so cheery either. But all in all "Bill" your were a dick customer to begin with. Staying on hold just to bring it up to the first person who would acknowledge your existence, and then putting it on youtube in hopes for someone else to query for it and notice your accomplishment....
OldLadyGoo 11 months ago

OldLadyGoo 11 months ago
@OldLadyGoo - If the 1 person at the desk had other people she was waiting on, we wouldn't have complained. But she was just standing there and actually walked away when she saw we might want her attention. The store was not busy at all. It was a ghost town in there. Why not rag on the customer service skills of a customer service agent who obviously didn't want to help us and did it begrudgingly?
gehennacub 11 months ago

What a shame. I saw your Best buy video. I'm glad you put it up. I've seen other people complain about them, as well.
I've been shafted by a crappy company as well.
If you have time Check out my video about GTM motorsports.
Have a great day and I hope you don't have a problem with customer service like that anytime soon.
