Those long charging cables are unimaginable. A flat box recharger station on the floor of parking space with socket cover for rain and flood will be much better. How about a solar penal roof on top of each parking space? Can strong coil magnets on all major freeways for recharging vehicles while they pass through?

Electric cars are the answer.  It's very easy to charge a car with your own solar panels and have no fuel cost, or pay very little for electricity.

@TRUMPHENT yes.. but the rest of the country is powered by coal and nuclear power plants.. and applying this on a wide scale doesn't look realistic to me... plus i dont like the idea of "charging" up my car.. rather just fill it up with fuel.. i dont believe electric cars are the future.. hydrogen fuel cell powered cars are.. they run on hydrogen which is renewable and and the only byproduct is water vapor.. seems a bit unrealistic but you should look into it..
