I'm a vegetarian and I simply can't bear handling raw meat. However, I love my three cats and want them to be healthy so I'm looking into several raw food brands where I don't have to cut or touch too much of it--hopefully just defrost. Love your video and your cats are ADORABLE!
When somebody told you treating animals wrong is good he was wrong. All lives in the world are treated bad everyday, you are not the only one. You dont need to add cruelty. Good people are tryin to make this world a place to live for us. You kno what im sayin. Just let other lives not suffer. I hope you will be kind. You have no right to do these things. Are you proud of yourself? Do good you will be a good human.
Your kitties are adorable. I wish I could get my cats to eat raw, but alas, they will have nothing to do with it. :( They eat Go, which is pretty good for them.
@totmirmis The only problem I have ever had was with some of the pre-ground mixes I used to feed in the first few years. About 3 times the crew puked them back up within an hour of feeding. They were fine as soon as they got it up, never any other side effects (were hungry for next meal, no diarrhea, etc). Otherwise not a single problem. My advice, feed only foods from sources you would eat yourself, avoid pre-ground (grind your own if you have to), and introduce new foods gradually.
@totmirmis some advice i heard was that if you freeze meat for 3 days it kills parasites. also if you dont feed intestines the parasites home! you'll be ok. hope that helps ease your mind - go for it, its definately worth it
Your kitties seem so happy and healthy :) I wish I could get my cat and dog on raw but I live with my folks for the time being (pathetic!) and they refuse to have it. But when I get back into my own place, they better prepare for the good stuff, instead of dry kibbles!
Asia is absolutely GORGEOUS! Not an ounce of typical suburban cat chub and the kind of coat you only see in cat food commercials ;) I'm slowly trying to switch mine over to at the very least, a commercial raw diet (such as Hare Today's ground meats plus their supplement). I don't think I could ever cut up a whole animal like you do :s
@rawtoast After 8 yrs of raw feeding, not much phases me. I did ground for YEARS before I switched to chunks. Try and get 'pieces' in when you can, like maybe wing tips, chicken ribs, that kind of thing to promote teeth 'cleaning'. I spent 800 dollars on dentals and thats when I sucked it up and started feeding chunks of food :)
I also want to put my cats on a raw diet. They prefer it, how ever I currently do not have the money to do so. As soon as I am able to I will research some more and introduce them to it properly.
I though feeding chunks of meat like in the video was not good for them?I must be wrong. I only thought in my own head it was not very good.
@livexflirtxlovex I buy from 'hare-today' and ship them in. Wild rabbits are a bit risky to feed raw due to a particular disease they carry that cannot be killed by freezing (one of the few wild things I will not feed them). So I stick with domestically raised.
I'm trying so so super hard to get my newly adopted cat of 6 years old to start a raw diet it's so difficult. I'm feeding him wet only by Wellness until I succeed. Asia is so freaking CUTE.

@peaceflmeadow when you feed them chunks of food, does this also promote clean teeth?
I thought it was difficult for domestic house cats(regardless of breed) to chew through large chunks like the one in this video.

Do you catch your own rabbits? or do you breed your own rabbits for food?

What adorable squeaky meows at the end! Lily does the same thing Asia does - the trying to rub on the other cats. Boo Boo hates it.
