This scene disappointed me. :/ Kanon gave this great speech and I was sitting in my chair going "Fuck yeah, Kanon! Tell her how it is!" And then one of the Sisters killed him and I was just like "...well, dammit."

The main reason a lot of people don't liek the anime is because they leave out things that are important to the story. Not only that, they changed several characters' personalities. Not a good move.

IMO, they did pretty good, considering the fact they have pre-setted number of episode from the very beggining of production from "higher seats". Of course original was better, but seeing those characters in motion wiht life is great thing too.

Hm... Yep the cackle was replaced with a laugh. It sounds good either way, but I personally thought that Beatrice's voice would sound a little more... higher? Just not quite so mature with how much she laughs and all. idk how to explain it. Just how I imagined when reading.

Beatrice is an incredibly elegant witch. I always pictured her being a bit of a noblewoman, and thought that the "laughing" effect was always done either when she's particularly entertained (people tend to have high-pitched laughs)...but in this scene, I'm sure that's not Beato laughing. It's probably the Stake that ended up killing Kanon.

I'm really hoping to see the Kanon vs Goathead Butler fight during the next arc...hopefully that will end up being well done.
