Kimber tends to jam, get a glock 30, chambered in 45 acp, much reliable IMO.

have you shot any of those round yet? i would test them first, 1911s are picky about bullets. my 1911 wouldnt take those...

To this day, I have no Idea why clearing a house with an AR or AK is even an option. If you want to be deaf for the rest of your life, by all means, but they are probably the worst things to use. I am with you, I use My USP 45, HK45 or 1911, which ever is loaded and close. And if needed my shotgun. But never an AR or AK.

My bed side firearm is a Taurus PT140 Millenium Pro. My flashlight is some no name $1 one that actually works rather well. I do not bother with my phone in such situations. I called the police when someone was dealing drugs in front of my house. They told me to take a picture of the plates and then they never showed up...again, lol. I have given up on that.

I grab my ak and my pistol grip 870 on a single piont sling and my ruger sr9 on my side and my cold steel rajah 1. Never know when you have to take down 5 bears in your house at 1 time
