this song makes me wish i had a drum kit...id be carted around by a truck on a flatbed with my drumkit ..and play this to the song as its playing ( taking out the drums) and everyone would love OLP...and there would be no more tears..as the former world(music) has passed away...XD
@juggalo9912 They're still around, but it's a completely different sound. Inbetween "Spiritual Machines" and "Gravity" they completely changed style. Though, they're a fantastic band before and after their change, I personally prefer their older stuff (like this) - it's less processed, more raw, and simply unique. It's a combination of grunge and alt rock. Now it's far more... mainstream 2000's alt rock, whatever that is (lots of processing).
@420Guitar420 Our Lady Peace has been forgotten? Hmm... I listen to them all the time. They were here in concert (Atlanta) just last year at the Tabernacle. Great concert and great band!
This song and album cannot even be classified as 90's. It has always been in it's own world and artistically original. Now their music is poopie :) wtf happened
@Tickettoride90 They got rid of their old guitarist, who was an important factor in their original, abstract sound, Raine stopped using his falsettos, and they took a new direction, setting on the mainstream instead of the alternative.
They pretty much no longer distinguish themselves from the rest of the bands on the radio. Shame, too.... they have such potential.
i was born mid 90's and i am sad to know i missed this :(

I've always loved the guitar solo in this song. Really messy and grungy. Still sounds awesome though

OlP formed in 1992 I think. Smack in the middle of the grunge era. By the time Naveed was realeased, grunge was having less appeal.

Fortunately the 90's allowed bands like OLP to be heard, don't forget just a few years before this we were being tortured by hair bands....

@Tickettoride90 totally agree... happiness and spiritual machines are unique, these two albums mean so much for me even 10 years after...

One of the many great forgotten 90s alt rock bands.

Forgotten? They're still around, still putting out albums, and likely more popular now than they were then.
