I was 11 when I first heard him. I never heard it at anyones place but my brothers had it and loved his voice. He also did a thing in a band called UHF with many iconic canadian singer songwriters with great harmonies.

This sure brings back some memories.

I have been trying to find a way to get all 3 of his early recordings, kid full of dreams , thistle , and raincheck on misery, not available anywhere. They are all out of print . All I had for a while were old tapes, which I have misplaced years ago..

I have this LP as well as Roy's Almost Overnight CD. Something that every music fan should own.
