Yeah fuck people who crowd surf at The Mars Volta, just like fuck people who mosh now at Tool shows. There was a time and a place for that stuff. For Tool it was 93-98. For The Mars Volta it was called At the Drive in. Bands evolve and fans want to be a part of that. Don't fuck it up for others with your selfish ambitions and needles quests for attention.

I was lucky enough to be at this show right in front of Cedric; the Volta are hands down the best live band I've ever seen... 2 hours went by like it was nothing.

The only downside for me was getting kicked in the side of the head by a crowdsurfer whose mommy apparently didn't give him enough attention when he was a little boy.

I was there...Cedric actually really impressed me with his live vocals. TMV = Ecstasy. the only real 2 hour orgasm i have experienced.
