Do you really think black people would have accepted Arab Islam in the early 1930s? Orthodox Muslims have long beards and thobes. You actually think poor and uneducated blacks in those times who were beaten psychologically by whites would have accepted an Arab form of Islam? The truth of Islam was presented to the prophet muhammad in stages. Black Americans needed to be spoon fed Islam in small bites. In 1975, WD Muhammad converted over 250,000 members of the nation of Islam into true or orthodox Islam. that would NOT have happened without the Nation of Islam first introducing blacks to some form of Islam. The NOI had the answer to get us started on the right path. Now, we are almost there and we need Muslims to help us instead of talking junk and pointing fingers.
