really helpful!! ive tried a few times to get my bunny on his back to lay like that, but he kicks and squirms so much, but i fear that is my lack of knowledge of how to put him in that position! I will defo try it your way!! then i may actually be able to clip his nails!
@SailingBetty Thanks, putting a bun on it's back is stressful for the rabbit, and it must be done with confidence so it feels secure. If you have someone around who can stroke the buns head/face while you do it it may help. Wrap the towel around quite firmly, and keep the procedure as short as possible. Make sure you reward afterwards!
very helpful. I've never been successful with the bunny burrito technique. Both my buns are terrified of being picked up. It takes me 3 days to cut their nail. Bertie is so calm.
