OOoops I accidentally deleted your comment violingurrll , SO SORRY! But yes, you can do this on shorter hair for sure, I chopped mine into a bob and still use this same technique to wave my hair :)
Depending on how tight the curl is. If you can blow dry your hair fairly straight it should work just fine, however, if you have tight curls, you can go over with a flat iron first.
After you make the waves take the ends that stick out and curl them under with your curling iron. I now have short hair too and I just re curl the ends afterward so they dont stick out, works great :) Hope this helps!!
Thank you so much for this video I have been driving myself (and my hair) crazy trying to get those sexy yet simple looking waves in my hair to no avail. Thanks again!!!
This is the best method I've come across to get WAVES, not curls. Thanks to you!

anne1397 1 year ago
@anne1397 Absolutely! It really depends on your hair, mine just stays wavy longer when I do use it =)

Does it need to be thin curling iron, or a thick one? or ...
katiekat745 2 years ago
Depends on your hair length and the size of wave you want. A larger barrel will create looser waves.

no, you would just have to blow-dry it straight.
:)

But what if the person has curly hair and wants waves like the ones you just did? Would we have to straighten our hair first?
