I have become a regular attendee of Gateway Church in the last few months, and your comment cannot be farther from the truth. SIN is addressed, BUT the real focus is on the LOVE of God, and how our relationship with one another can solidify and develop our faith and communion with God. We are imperfect people, and therefore SIN is part of our lives; however we need to feel safe to reach out to God and that is what this church is doing.
stay connected? I've heard you say "come as u r" and "culture" a half dozen times and not once have you mentioned to repent, or even that SIN is THE issue. You can't draw people in, if they are still a slave to sin. The church is a collection of believers. It's evident that unbelievers are making decisions inside the churches now. Your plan is more concerned with what people think than what God thinks. Humanism is a poor substitute for true biblical Christianity!
