Look at the arrow on the lower right hand corner of the video - it has "CC" on it in red if you put your mouse on it. This is for close captions or subtitles. This video has English and Yale added - (labelled as Han Traditional because there is no option for Yale Cantonese). Most of my videos don't yet have this feature, but there's a free pdf of the book with dialogues vocab available on my website cantonesecourse (dot) com.

It's funny how saying Joi-kin is so awkward to us Hong Kongers. No one ever says that. It's completely replaced with Bye Bye. Or Hai-gum-sin (meaning: laters).

Basically I'm pushing boundaries to test how useful (and acceptable!) this stuff is for language learning...

I dunno...perhaps the more cartoon-y the better? Don't particularly care either way myself - it's just another tool.
