  • I have a 96 accord with an automatic NON vtec ecu (P0B) I did a motor swap to the vtec motor and vtec ecu but I have a CEL on the vtec ecu. I would like to know if you can add vtec to this ecu since its an obd2 I know you cant tune it but my hopes are to add vtec to the non vtec ecu and plug it in instead of running the vtec ecu and having the cel light all the time. PLEASE HELP!!! thank you in advance.

  • i got a really important question i hav a 1995 prelude i just swapped it to the h22a it use to hav the h23a1 nd now i need to know wat ecu to buy so i can hit vtec nd if i need a wireing harness if so which one and how to run wires to my vtec solinoid

    thingy thanx

  • can you make a non-vtec ECU Vtec capable?

  • @jotank411 yes

  • @djesco075 how would you go about doing so?

  • hey on you website there isn't a scroll bar on the right...

  • @TheWooR6 Yes we are about to redeploy our site in 1 month. Beter web services etc... (comencing drum roll) Thanks for letting me know though. I apreciate it.

  • @djesco075 no prob and cant wait for the new site=p and keep up the awesome work

  • put it thiss way all automatic non vtec obd1 ecus are gold mines becuase for every automatic ecu u got u got enouf parts in to to make convert 3 non vtec computers with one :P iv done it for ages all obd1 ecus are gold except for 5 speed nonvtec thoes are bare need lots of parts to make work properly but in the end u can convert eney ecu thats obd1

  • @mariopic

    True to some extent

    1. you need to add a few basic parts resistors and tant caps and pnp trans then write code for the external rom to support VTEC

    2. However the stock non VTEC ECU processor does not support multistage/multipoint vtec. you can engage up to 10 points on a Stock Vtec and only 4 on non VTEC converted ECUs

    @TEQU1LLO

then you need to perform a Vtec Head swap and add the wiring I mentioned using a vtec compatible ecu at minimum.

  • @djesco075 I have a question. I have a 01 integra ls nonvtec coupe with a couple bolt on's. If I sent you my stock ECU. Can you mod it to work with the bolt's on's or would I have to get a different ECU.Thanks

  • I HAVE A accord 99 no vecth wat i can do >>computer >>motor is f23a

  • @TEQU1LLO

    1. Verify ECU is a VTEC ECU if not you can contact us at (832)-798-0000. if it is a VTEC ECU then do the following: 2. Check ECU make sure it is not damaged (burned parts etc, water damage) if ok the do the following: 3. Trace the following wires from your ECU: Oil Pressure Signal and Vtec Soleniod (both are needed for VTEC to function properly). if not present wires will need to be run from the ECU to the sensor and Activating Solenoid. if present then: (Continued)

  • @TEQU1LLO

    4. Test VTEC Solenoid by disconnecting (while vehicle is off) and aplying 12Volts + signal to the lead (wire) you should hear a click as you apply current. If not it may need cleaning or it is bad (replace part if bad) 5. Consider replacing Oil Pressure sensor (rarely goes bad but could do so)

  • i can see memory ram in there xDD

  • Thank you. Hoped it helped you

  • gud stuff :]

  • @DaLeYWaLeYh22a Thanks
