no you are not....the blackberry is great for im apps and facebook...keeps u connected with all ur friends....the trackball is fantastic..it feels great and does even better than the conventional buttons

hey, just to help you out with the seperate period keys, a smart thing that BlackBerry designed is that when your typing something, just press space twice and a period is there along with a new sentence. however, with the comma thing, that is ok.

Hey, So with this phone and i phone 3g alike, you cant connect to facbook, ebay, paypal, hotmail, google etc, without having the apps? Like when your surfing the browser it is a limited browser or something or can you use it like regular computer internet. You can connect to any of those sites without the apps on either phone. You can user the browsers almost like computer browsers, there are a few things you can't do usually involves watching videos. Of course it is faster if you have the apps instead of going to the actual websites but you have the option to do either.

Okay... Uh-Oh. I noticed something.

Watch the signal up in the corner. It is almost never constant. It switches from full to two bars, then three, then two, then five, etc.

My iPhone does that, and since I am almost in a "fringe" area, I drop calls constantly.

And no, switching carriers won't help. AT&T is the only carrier to get service at my house.

id love to see a full head to head to head comparison between the e71, bold and treo pro. i got my e71 unlocked and love it but im eligible for an upgrade on in febuary and im seriously torn between the bold and treo pro. i had the treo 750 and loved all the free apps i could get from xda developers but hated how chunky the device was and the low res screen. so im open to suggestions, thanks
