  • This looks extreemly fun... wish i had a jeep to do this with...mabey my next car

  • Would you ever dare take a 2WD truck in any of these conditions? Just wondering.

  • @TheLyricalRAP as long as someone else was with you just incase you get stuck and have to pull you our. but this was pretty easy and could have been done in 2wd I bet.

  • question to anyone that knows...

do [all/most] modern 4x4's keep water out of the cabin? until a certain point of course. from below the side windows?

  • @xanderrr521 do not go above your air intake inlet! never get water up past your windows~ haha

Try and keep the water only like 5 " above door at max~!

  • Great vid man, That FJ made everything look easy. I live in Maine, we have some pretty badass trails around here as well. I think the northeast has some of the toughest wheeling terrain in the US. Down south it's mostly mud, out west is mostly rock and ledge, out here, you get all of it on one trail. Sprinkle 6" on snow on there, and it's even more fun!

  • When you have a car and a slightly deep puddle you're supposed to floor it!! SPLASH!!!

  • that is fun and all in a small puddle but when going through deep water you want to try to not get water up over your hood as it will suck into your air intake. When you drive slow you make a wave and behind the wave is a wake where there will be less water (where your motor is) so you plow the water slowly with your front bumper. Do the same thing as we did here if you hit a 2 foot deep flooded river in your car and you will be all set as well. floor it and you will be in big trouble.! ;)

  • @bdaddy23 They have things so your car can go completely underwater!!:D This looks fun but I'd probably go slightly faster! I get what you're saying too!:D I just love getting a car totally covered in mudd!! Mudd + Truck = Bliss♥ :D

  • @bdaddy23 Air intake problems? Its what a Snorel systems are for.

Can drive with water up to the windscreen if you are in the right car. =]

  • hey where is this in NH. I'm new to off roading but i cant find any trails at all in NH

  • @slickzander I do not remember I just followed my buddies. haha

I joined a forum called exploringnh and they take you out on runs through a ton of class 6 roads and other trails. look it up

  • @bdaddy23 ok thanks

  • Where were you guys going?

  • @SuperSonicPsykic you know... no where. haha there and back. just out for a nice weekend "ride" through the woods. I live in MA and travel to NH on the weekends in the summer with friends to go on trails.

I no longer have the bronco I have a Jeep Cherokee XJ lifted 6.5"

  • what was going through your minds, offroading without lift kits O_O you guys should go faster *nods*

  • what was going through your minds, offroading without lift kits O_O

  • @bdaddy23 actually u must not kno how to go mudd boggin. its very sinmple the fatser u go the muddier your truck gets. and oof get all your wires wet wat do u think happens when u wash your truck/car u jackass. so y dont u just shut up and go ddrive around in your lil toyota prius.

  • @gangstafromdahood1 dude chill don't be dumb your commenting negative shit on MY youtube videos. This video is mad old it was when I had my ford bronco even. This was a cool spot I though when I was new to off road. I enjoy rock crawling now with my jeep xj see my vids. But I am not against mud bogging and I understand how that goes. This video is not about mud boggin and never claimed to be. Its just off roading clips I made. Up here in new england we don't mud bog really.

  • @gangstafromdahood1 if we do play in the mud it is just a little. Tearing up the mud and trails is not what we are about. They hold events where people can take there trucks and mud bog, that's fun to watch but not for me.? Sorry your upset but let's keep it cool ok bro. I don't drive a prius haha I don't even like toyota yuck. Sorry to my toyota buddies haha I am a chevy and jeep guy. Peace man hope u can watch some of my jeep vids for fun. Nothing crazy in them though.

  • Is that FJ stock? I have driven my CJ-5 through deeper shit then that man come on...

  • @Rotenlutafish yes it is a stock FJ it is my friends. It was pretty deep and the other section after was even more deep. But yes I have even been through deeper stuff as well. its all fun. no need to say anything negative. thanks

  • honestly this guys dont kno how drive through mud. u gotta put the peddle to the medal and get your truck as dirty as u can

  • @gangstafromdahood1 Honestly you do not know what your talking about then. When going through deep water you do not want to go fast because you splash water all over your inside of the hood and can suck water up your intake and get all your wires wet. best to drive at a steady pace and "plow" the water with your bumper causing a wake in the engine bay and keeping it dry.

  • my tricycle could pull that hole........

  • @johnboyrebel27 lol.... your funny.... NOT. haha go home! you lose I have more vids than you. :P

  • Thats some cool terrain. I wish I could find some places in VA that were like that. It looks pretty sweet with those trucks squeezing through in tire-high water surrounded by trees. I would have gotten too excited and blasted through there spraying water lol

  • what kind of lift does that XJ have? :)

  • Words cannot explain how much I hate that FJ. I mean the old Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser is a thing of beauty, but this new bad Hummer replica is ugly as hell.

  • I can't wait to get an XJ :D That bronco looks pretty awesome too. The FJ is kinda cool looking but i prefer american, i don't really like toyotas. But hey it made it through all that so i have to give it some credit :P

  • Dont you just love the haters that talk shit to ya like they where there. and filmed it. NICE VID MAN..

  • Comment removed

  • @billtommyhawk ooooo k dude no problemo. I didnt put Mud Boggin in the title. only in the tags so people looking for Mud Boggin will see my video. :P

I guess that is just what is driving you nuts.

    oh well get over it.

    later dude

  • i was really hoping the toyota would get stuck lol. but besides that, nice video. Loving the Jeep. Bronco did well too. Nicely done.

  • @hockeyman590 LOL ME TOO

  • what u talkin about? that jeep is hideous looking compared to that toyota! FJ Cruisers rock!!!

  • ah man im getting my jeep sunday i cant wait this vid makes it harder lol

  • does the water actually get inside when you go through?

  • @Scmshacks no. not unless your door weather stripping is completely gone or ripped off in spots. mine is fine in my Jeep. this was my old bronco and never got water in.

people with wranglers who remove the door end up regretting it after going through this kind of stuff. lol

    they get soaked!

luckily they have drain plugs and mold proof carpets.

  • That Toyota is just so ugly.

  • thats not a big hole!!!!! come on pussys

  • how the hell do you manage to keep the factory rear flares on? i always bump or rub mine off. i actually just took mine all the way off.

  • really cool,great guys

  • did you get any water inside?

  • everything is better than a ford even a hummer

  • damn that jeep came prepared haha, awsome vid.love the jeep dude.

  • where are these trails

  • yall are pretty damn good

  • You do realize in off roading mud bogs especaly going first has the advantage of fress tracks meaning he gets to it befor its turns to mush, also going second means u drive through some one elses now deeper tracks

  • you had no rub at all with the 33"s? damn mine rub like crazy :P getting a lift soon to fix that though. Excellent Offroad videos! keep posting.

  • @wownevermind haha

yeah springs where pretty good shape and shocks where new. :o)

    it helps a lot!

  • g class would pwn all this cars

  • Yo man, I was just wondering how you keep the spare tire secure on the top of the Jeep? Thanks man, sweet video.

  • @SlipknotOwnsMe

there's a bracket thats keeping the tire bolted to the rack

  • Right on, thanks man.

  • were in nh and me?

  • on Class six roads.

about 2 hrs from where i live in MA i forget the town names sorry. I will start putting that info in the videos when I make them so I dont forget.

    thanks

  • @bdaddy23 where do you live in mass? becasue im from mass and i would drive 2 hours to go here. so if we live close enough then the time of the ride shouldnt really be much of a difference

  • yeah prolly about that

    I live in central MA

  • Very nice, awesome XJ!

  • Notice the ford does not get stuck in any one of the mud holes

  • @Bajarocks8675

only reason the ford didnt get suck was because the XJ went first ;)

  • Comment removed

  • XJ was lifted.. bronco wasnt... bronco followed it through everything... stop being a judgemental fag and realize that the broncos are bad ass.

  • @wownevermind

    true haha

yeah that was my old bronco I since sold her but she was great!

spaced bumper out after replacing the springs up front with factory springs but for the 351 engine (lil stiffer) then added 33" tires and I never even rubbed once!

pretty good flex stock I might add!

  • Yeah i got a bronco with no lift on 31" a/t and it hasn't failed me yet.

  • @wownevermind I have to sa, I love XJs... but my buddy's bronco was some of the most fun I've ever had. unstoppable little monster... until the dif locked and exploded... sad day, very sad day. But it lived a good life

  • Hey you seem like you know what your doing when it comes to off road so can you tell me the answer to this question? When you go in the water and your exhaust is covered and under water what should you do and how long can you keep the truck running there?

  • ok thanks.

Your truck or car can run with exhaust under water no problem it just has to stay running while submerged.

Your differentials have breaters in them with one way valves to vent air out of them.

Most off roaders relocate the breaters on the diffs up out of harms way and out of water just incase.

so water doesnt suck in them.

Also you should only really go up to water up to your bumper and bottom of doors.

Over that you should be careful.

Electrinics under your hood and such.

  • Also your air intake if not modified could suck water up and hydrolock the engine.

so a snorkel would be great for deep water.

but thats not all thats needed to go deep.

Also the main thing about deap water is go slow, not fast.

    but not tooooo slow.

you need to like make a small wave in front of your bumper which causes a wake in your engine bay and keeps it all dry by pushing the water.

get it?? see vid above :oD

at 2:50 you can see the wave in front of my bumper on my old bronco.

  • So could you like use PVC piping and extend your exhaust upwards like the HUMVEE or any dump truck to prevent it from submerging like that?

  • @IxSLATORxI

Exhaust isn't your problem as long as you have your foot on you gas. It's your air intake, or your axle breather lines. You could use PVC to extend your air intake higher, but it looks like crap. Better to just suck it up and buy a kit

  • how many inches are on the jeep?? love the video btw

  • 4.5" lift with 2.5" coil spacer up front and sagging leafs in rear.

He has roughly 6.5" here though

    thanks.

I sold the Bronco and Bought a Jeep Cherokee XJ as well. lol

  • Looks like a lot of fun. What kind of tires on that Jeep? Looks like they'd be hard to get stuck. That Bronco sounds great as well.

  • thanks there 34" Super Swampers not sure which ones.

  • this is kool

  • Nice Vid

    Like the Bronco...

What size Tires are those and what did you do to make them fit?

    lift or just trimmed fenders?

    Thanks

  • 33" and all that was needed was to space the front bumper out in the front.

I also had 1" taller springs that where for the Bronco with a 351 motor. New shocks all around.

  • where about in nh is this?

  • i think we where in Maine on this trip and I have really no clue where sorry. I just follwed the others. :o)

  • what kind of tires are on the cherokee

  • that looks fun i want to bring my zr2 there i got 33s on it
