I liken the t-party to being the descendants of Malthusians. They must protect the social strata otherwise there is nothing left to aim for. The more religious one is the more respect for authority and hierarchy; The t-party people demand respect on the social order even if they find as individuals that they are on the bottom of that order because it gives them hope of social climbing. Yes this is a generalization, but i think im aiming in the right direction.

Income distribution doesn't naturally (or under a pure free market system) flow in a fair manner, people have to guide the money a certain way, so everybody gets their fair share.
