I love the picture of the guy jumping by the new boat and a $60 price tag. Funny thing is, the price tag isn't attached to the boat. It's attached to the person.
All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons? Don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! 'I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's going to burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm going to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down
I remembered hearing this the first time you see the old 46' aperture, after you've passed the big door andd you see the spheres and the old offices... I sincerly stood up, started claping my hands and said "I give you my hat Valve, incredible game"
This song was the first thing to unnerve me when I was down in old Aperture. Then, the first recording came on. I nearly fell out of my chair because I wasn't expecting it!
Fun fact: this song is basically just a modified version of the gel themes/"Old Aperture". All the versions of the song are 1:07 long and fit together when you play two of them simultaneously.
As a fan of abandoned missile silos, UNIVAC computers, rotary-dial telephones, deep holes, abandoned urban areas and timelines of the progression through decades the Aperture bowels was the most amazing to me.
"Cave Johnson here. Got some good music here for ya. And if you thought THAT was creepy, you should see what we did to our first test subjects. Unless you're a lawyer. In which case there's nothing to see here and the previous sentence never happened. We'll give you a portal gun minifigure as you walk out the door. Cave Johnson, we're done here."
Thanks for uploading all these btw, the soundtrack in this game was awesome. Valve rarely use music in their games, despite having some of the best OSTs ever, lol.
Portal games. The greatness and misery of humankind. As usual in Valve games.

This reminds me of something "Glorious" and "huge" that happened in Aperture... Thumbs up if you agree.

Back when test subjects were hobos and Aperture was run by humans.

@MissingnoTheGreat Hobos and people who wanted to make $60.

@MissingnoTheGreat There's a point at which simply having a human body ceases to qualify you as being human.

there should have been cave johnson parts in the co-op game! i mean, seriously, you WERE in old apertue at the last chamber door thing.

It was kind of depressing being down in old aperture. Everything was so dark and abandoned. At least the Cave Johnson bits brightened it up a bit. :P
