  • awesome boys, awesome!

  • i miss the dead so much it almost makes me sick. Thank god I got to deer creek and alpine valley a few times

  • Fuckin Brent

  • Imho this is Brent's best song

  • Right on Cowgirl! I miss them soooo much,It Hurts! But,Yes They really did fill my life

with some Most beautiful stuff,That I will never forget! This version SMOKES!!!!

  • @SuperScotch23 it really does hurt. best times of my life at their concerts

  • have to say like this also so good job sounds just as good traffic .

  • Always loved Brent's vocals.

  • Traffics original version is much cleaner and purer. In other words it has not been "stepped on", and yet Jerry and crew again reminds us that indeed, we all could used a good head trip in these heady days of 2011. I'm grateful that he is dead, and not having to witness the vast rising tide of crappola about to engulf us all coming from the Middle East. The Western World needs to take a giant bong hit, mellow out, then resolve not to let freedom die through evil paradigms that would enslave us

  • Bob playing right in at Brent and Jerry really key in the sound market of hot years.

  • Hay alive again thanks Now!!!

  • great shot of bobbys bald spot.... we all get old

  • It's absolutely absurd that the Tiger sold for less than a million, and a fuckin Chinese vase just sold for 80 mil. Just goes to show people with that kind of money have no idea what they're doing...

  • @GhostofCliffGullett neither should have been sold.... and money? Just something we made up to appease some type of taught behavior..

  • I love the first one in Augusta Me

What a small arena-STL this was a great night. Jer has so much charisma

    Present tense slip, thats ok

  • Sing a Song, Play Guitar, Make Us Happy

  • @leftasmokingcrater make it snappy

  • The BEST!

  • Take us out of this gloom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile! A moment in time, a memory lasts forever. Lifes only consolation.

  • I'm surprised at how close the band members were on stage. I don't recall seeing this with other groups back in my concert going days.

  • Thank you! It all rolls into one!

  • Love In at Elysian Park, March 26, 1967. Ron "Pigpen" McKernan on vocals and tuck-n'-roll Hammond. Ron was chuggin' Coors, and would use his ponytail to wipe the head off his walrus mustache. Turn On Your Love Light was Ron's tribute to Ray Charles. Hope I'm reincarnated to jam with the man.

  • FOREVER GRATEFUL FOREVER DEAD

  • Great Cover, you still have to give it to Traffic for writing such a beautiful song

  • There is no one I miss more than Jerry, but Brent is a close 2nd. His voice and songs are some of the most touching ever. I love you, see you again one day.......Jackstraw58

  • @irdummar I agree with ya It's just not the same without Brent and Jerry. They made some great music

  • We miss you Brent!

  • Can't believe it's been 20 yrs

  • Incredibly beautiful!

  • I remeber this show...if I'm not mistaken, early in this show on the first set- Bobby sings a kick ass version of Thin Man.

  • Love ya Brent!

  • Miss them both so much

  • BP needs to stop this OIL LEAK and take me out of this gloom.

A self taping screw or some sort of (((Stop your Mother Earths bleeding))).

  • ♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪

  • need me one of those hot tub time machines

  • If you don't like this..go get sweet lessons..guitar and life :)

  • @Stavroslll....

pretty sure the original is by Blind Faith??????????????PACKIT

  • Traffic

  • oh that feedback is bad

  • i love brent's voice..

  • thank you, I so needed my mr. fantasy to play me a tune today!

  • Thanks for posting. Huge Brent fan brings back great memories.

    ;-)

  • Traffic's version (the original?) is better.

  • @StavrosIII no, it's different.

  • Brent tore this shit up! Miss him and uncle Jerry, never be the same.

  • very cool not just the roudy shit the crowd shit no uncool people like the ones i heard of. cool not just tough.

  • Man, does this bring back memories. Those '88 shows were

sick. Anyone remember Alpine that year. 100 degrees and the band was just as hot. So many roads. RIP Jerry and Brent.

  • Right channel Healy FM soundboard out of an Aiwa Walkman into a JVC S20U. Left channel 2 Sennheiser 441s...this is the right channel. LTF Productions

  • I was standing in line to pay my respects to Jerry Garcia August 13, 1995 at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park and I could hear these 2 woman and a man talking about how sad it was that Jerry had taken so many drugs and not taken care of himself maybe as much as he could have. And I heard the man say in an almost pranksterish voice, "Please dont be sad, if it was the straight life he'd had, we wouldn't have known him all of these years". I cried just a we bit less that day and I remembered.

  • thats inspireing

  • @HippieBuddah you again? you post such nice stories. no mist but a big ole smile. thanks friend.

  • @alligayda it seems we have traveled many of the same roads....those so many, so many roads...

  • For a live version, it sounds really great

  • i think John Lennon was mjurdered on this date back in 80?MAybe not but it has om reference to that.

  • December 8th, 1980.

  • @lilbrian39 December 8 1980

  • Outrageous! Brent!!!

  • Less than Face !!

    reliving a dream .......

  • GO BRENT!!!

  • Wow you can really see Bob's bald spot

  • The baptism of Jerry: is it from heaven or from man?

  • Ill never forget opening the Detroit Free Press to see Brents obit. I had just seen his last show. I believe it was in Chicago.

Hampton Va. was a favorite venue, as well as Copps in Ontario. They always seemed to rock a little heavier in thoes round arenas.

  • Traffic revival!!!

  • brent is the fucking man thanks for posting

  • I LOVE IT. YESSS!

  • Always loved the melodies of Jerry & Brent together in this song. Nothing better. God, I miss them both, but didn't they fill my life with some beautiful stuff while they did?

  • Indeed they did Cowgirl40!!!!Indeed they did!

  • @cowgirl40 well put................

  • I can see it like it was just yesterday: through the viewfinder of a Panasonic PV-100, into a JVC S20U portable HiFi stereo VCR. With the FM signal, of course.

  • Good work Bro!!!

I would love to see this and the other video source which is from straight on combined together!!I have the VHS, I'll work on transferring it to dvd, but Synching sound is not my strong point.....

  • thelastjeremy, no, this was them as the Grateful Dead.

I was at this show, it was killer diller.

  • i'm drawing a blank. is this one of the "formerly the Warlocks" shows?

  • Another fine LESS THAN FACE production!

  • Brent makes it his. Owns it!!

  • "please dont be sad if it was a str8 life you had would not of known you all these years"...THANKS JERRY rock with BRET and PIG some where in the fabric of time and space. While we all will just sit here in limbo youtube!

  • good stuff!!!

  • always loved Brent singing this song
