I didn't make the video. This is Chaparral's promotional video from Keisner's website. This was the first video I ever posted on my account and I only posted it because I wanted to post something, anything. lol Thanks anyway though. It is a good video. I love the music, even though I don't know what it is.
Hes not as wonderful as you think. I held him in high regard, until I came to work for him. There was a gelding whod been traumatized from being in a wash rack when it was struck by lightning, and he didnt want to go back in for the farrier. Joel kept kicking and kicking and kicking this horse in the stomach (with his cowboy boots), and the horse was actually groaning every time that Joel kicked him. Tell me, why couldnt a groom just hold the horse in the aisle way?
Wow, what a story. I've been in situations like that, where most people would assume the horse is being abused, but they don't know the whole story. Sometimes horses just decide they don't want to do something, and they can't do that, because then they become dangerous if they think they can get away with something like that.
But the story you told, that does sound a little harsh. Now I can understand Joel's actions if the horse was just makin trouble, but to have a reason like that... idk
I honestly don't know. I didn't make this video. It's the first video I posted, and I posted it just cause I wanted to post something. lol I wish I knew the song, I like it too. You can always email Keisner and ask I guess. I found the vid on his website on Chaparral's page.
Whoa, great video! I have a Half Arab hunter but I started out riding English and its my real passion. Did anyone go to US Arab Nationals in 2007? It was GREAT! Got to see all of my 'Magazine Horses' and hang and watch and work with my friends. Joel Kiesner is wonderful...Its always an honor to watch him perform! He had a superb US! And again, COOL video. :) :)
This is such an amazing horse, I work where he is stabled and just got my mare bred by him, videos def. don't do him justice.

He's a beautiful horse, his sire is one of my favorites. You can tell that he's his fathers son by the way he moves. Good job on the video
