I Made one by accident |: My house is underwater and the entrance/exit is a waterfall, and the pool at the bottom has infinite water. Pretty awesome.

not working for me, the water i put down doesnt become a stream like yours does. just stays there in a square and vanishes after a couple of seconds.

only dig a 3 long line in one direction and fill with water (at the sides)

@killervoid2 You can do it only if the deep if water is 1 block, not more. I got infinite pool(well) by my house 3x3x1 blocks of water. This unfortunately doesnt work for lava. ;)

Thanks for this. I went through the trouble of digging a tunnel all the way from the sea and to my house in hopes of infinite water. It was a hell of a let down when the water stopped flooding pretty much at the entrance. This saved me a lot of trouble.

@bowserben Lava works too but you need at least 4 other lava cubes touching the lava cube which you take off. The missing cube will just get replaced slower. I tried this with a pillar and putting one lava cube at the top of it. After the stream had stabilized I took the cube which I just placed off and it eventually got replaced.

you dont even need 4 squares of water, you can just dig a ditch 3 blocks wide and fill a block of water in each side
