  • This ain't the movie soundtrack "5.15"....have to keep searching here! Thanks for the upload anyway, one of the greatest tracks ever!!

  • Do you have the version of 'Love Reign O'er Me' that was on the movie soundtrack? Been looking for it everywhere. It's not -that- different from the album version, save for a flute right before the singing starts, and a different ending.

  • my fried egg made me sick first thing in the morning. seems i remember this album long b-4 1973.

  • Like what you have done here. Nice use of the film footage.

Outta my Brain on the Train !! ✭

  • That much 'guyliner' would have got the shit kicked out of him even back then :)

  • The Vespa GS goes over the cliff but Jimmy is seen walking AWAY from the cliff

  • @suggs59 the very beggining of the film is the end.

  • I seriously think that why I'm stuck in eternal Jimmy mode, is that Ive never bought ah scoot and drove it over ah cliff! That should do it, by fucken' golly!

  • It's the tune

  • classik, 1 ov the best films ever made off his head on bluez!

  • google quadrophenia movie mistakes thers loads, but who cares , i 1st seen this when i was 13yrs old in 1979 (it influenced my life then and still does to this day) and WAS i looking for mistakes i dont think so, its only now that we've all got nowt better to do that we look for these things

  • Fantastic film/soundtrack...Am i the only one who identified with Jimmy? Everyone's so content, like sheep in their humdrum lives...he wants passion, love, fun,excitement.....'I want it to be like Brighton an that!'....love it!

  • i went to see quadrophenia live thats when i got into liking THE WHO and now im absolutly obsessed with them they are absolutely brilliant and i hope people get to realise the olden fantastic music .i have 2 t-shirts of he who(vintage)and 2 cd's and a dvd set keeping in mind im only 13 but they are still FANTASTIC

  • Thank you. This film and album changed my life. Will always love it.

  • At the party the LP on the table is A Quick One/Who Sell Out, which is a seventies reissue of those albums released in '66 & '67 and as this is supposed to be '65 and pre '65 oinly a minor bloomer of a good film. Where were the Lambretta's with the side panels removed? Couldn't spot one!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah it is from Quadrophenia. It might be on that album too.

  • Then and Now is a compilation; it was indeed originally from Quadrophenia, written for the movie/soundtrack of course

  • pil daniels is so cool

  • For me it was the circle line, round and round. When it flooded and we were trapped there for 2 hours I scarcely noticed. Luckily I value my time here a lot more now.

  • tool

  • I'm sure alot of us in the 60's& 70's have been on that train wherever you lived, and been totally gone on reds and coke or dilaudids and jack d. and lived to remember how precious life really is.but some never did.

  • out of my brain on a train yeh.... totally

  • great film loved it and songs

  • Incredible!

    Thanks for this so much.

    Been there, done that.

Too old to do it again, but thanks for the memories.

  • excellent stuff, thanks for the upload.

  • You made me curious as to whether the train did do that trip, I am not a regular trainspotter that knows such things! I looked it up, I confess.

  • looked like extacy to me...

  • Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant...out of my brain on the train!! Never forget the 10 of us storming the theatre the day it came out here in Milwaukee!! Time moves so fast...cherish your life, it's just like a movie!!

  • The Brighton train doesn't run from Waterloo.

Never take travel advice from The Who.

  • lol

  • HE MIGHT OF CHANGED

  • In the year this film was set the train did go direct from Brighton to Waterloo.

Now today you have learned something.

  • @MickeyLove01: If you had to change at Clapham Junction, to get to Brighton from Waterloo, why would that be significant?? Because Quadrophenia was recorded in Studios along Stewarts Road, Battersea, just by Nine Elms Market (not far from Clapham Junction). The band used to drink in a pub called the Butcher's Arms in Stewarts Road SW8 (check out the address on the back of the album). So may be Pete was right about the 5.15 after all.....

  • @eduardoisland I suggest you pay attention to what I was saying and to whom.

  • @KataAnimata out of my brain on the (wrong) train

  • Wondered for the longest time if this was Stiv Bators.

  • what drugs is he on?

  • Wew, great song!

  • Jimmy sounds depressed. I think he needs more pills. :P

  • This is one of my fave films of all time! Even after all this time!!

  • Phil Daniels plays the perfect Jimmy!

I love the beginning of the scene when the lady walks in on him-putting make up on ? haha, love it!

  • I've been there man!

Us Mods never die, we just keep on rocking dudes

Peace and Love Mods and Modettes and everyone else

  • I know how you feel Jimmy !
