  • Cool band and song!

  • Some years ago I saw these guys for the first time. They opened for The Brian Setzer Orchestra in Tampa. A happy accident hearing them. They've been known to appear on A Prarie Home Companion. Quality finds quality.

  • whats gary bennett doing these days,he's to talented to have just dropped away from the music scene?

  • Listening and watching Gary playing with BR549 brings tears to my eyes.... no matter how many times or how frequently I listen to this song...

    I miss you Gary!!!

  • NICE OLD GRETSCH

  • I love these guys too. Haven't seen them in a very long time.

  • everyone seems to be forgetting to mention Ricky Skaggs here on fiddle???

  • we don´t forget Ricky, but is just that we may be nostalgic with this great band that hardly plays nowadays due to circumstances. Ricky is fine as usual in this song, and I´m sure everyone was happy to see this happen.

  • This is THE BEST hilliblly band out there. No matter what´s going on with them, they´ll always be the best, and an example of how some boys can get to Nashville, play for tips, and end up being a world known hillbilly band. It´s great to see this video of the original formation, with Gary and Jay. THEY WERE GREAT. I miss them so much. I got the chance of become friends with them, visit their awesome tour bus in numerous occasions, and sharing diner and drinks in lots of times.
