just tell them that you dont smoke and tell them that ur responsible with them. most of you guys are all little kids so ur parents dont let you, but my mom helped me put fluid in my old zippo

if Ur parents are really that tight about it just take off the fuel caps and let them keep them so you cant fill it

get some tell them your not gonna put fluid in it therefore it won't light and tell them you will just collect them because they look really interesting or cool, after a while or year tell them that you wanna try it with fluid maybe they can keep the fluid one while your not using it, then they start to trust you and your on your way :D also don't bug them to much like once a few weeks and do it when they are happy or just on there comp every few weeks...
