My Bengal Talladega is hilarious. Very affectionate, loves all other animals and humans. He goes to work with me every day. Even though he has run of the huge building, he stays right by my desk the whole time. Loves to play and loves water as long as it's on his terms. He is very good for his baths, although youcan tell he does not like them, he puts up with them by telling you so but sits still. ALL MEOW NO BITE!!!
he is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo CUTE
I would recommend getting a bengal to anyone. My bengal HATES and let me emphasize hates water. When I give him a bath i have never heard such sounds in my life. He is very affectionate, but yeah definitely not a lap kitty. Good luck holding him more than 10 seconds in your lap.
im considering a bengal cat for its energy, i hard they dont mind water when introduced to it.. is this true? its a toin toss between, bengal, maine coon and scottish fold.. all 3 are gorgeous and im making a huge descision.. :)
my bengal hates water, the more wild they are the more they like water, most of the resonable ones are removed from their wild routes, therefore don't like water.
Mine like water, but only if it's their idea to go into it. If I fill the tub with water and toss some toys in they will go in and play, but if I pick them up and try to put them in they make a fuss. Ironically, my DSH doesn't mind taking a bath, providing the water is warm.
Fair warning: that "energy" is a double-edged sword. It's the cat equivalent of a having a high-energy dog breed locked indoors. On the other hand, they are a lot of fun. Also, get one far removed from the wild or you will likely have litterbox issues.
I've been thinking about getting a bangle kitten in the future because I heard they are very playful. But are the affectionate?
Also, my 10 year old daughter has said for years she wants a white cat with a black tail and black spots on its head and back.I'll show her this video., she will love it.
They are playful and affectionate. They're not known to be "lap cats" and are probably too energectic for someone looking for a cat that just sits on your lap all the time, but they are very affectionate still. My snow bengal is hyper, but at the end of the day he likes to curl up in my arms like a human baby and nap.
