About the marshmallows at the beginning. Why do they compress with a lack of air pressure. Is it because it has tiny pockets of air in it that are released? Wouldn't something such as the human body which has no air inside explode rather then implode with an absence of pressure?

What i think is that space since its very cold may have a not even measurable amount of humidity but the moon and space are very old so i think is that since it has no atmoshphere the moisture just built up on the surface after billions of years and thats how you get the footprints!

Incorrect. For all practical purposes, the Moon has no atmosphere. The pressure on the surface of the Moon is effectively zero. After leaving the rocket nozzle, the gas would expand quickly. The exhaust did, however, clear some of the loose, upper layers of dust from the area immediately around the landing site (as can be seen in 16mm film and photos under the engine bell).

If the moon dust was very fine like powder, then the landing rockets would have moved the dust so far from the lander that making footprints would have been impossible. If the moon dust is the same as used in the vacuum then they cant go back there for this reason.

The dust there is like talcum powder and makes absolutely perfect footprints, far better than earlier in the year when there is more moisture. So the dust on the moon is super fine, probably close to what flour feels like. You can make a very distinct footprint in dry flour.

Why did this even need debunking? Regardless of atmosphere, particals will be displaced by the weight of an object. Moisture is only 'required' to make a print because in atmosphere, there are other forces at play which the moisture can help the imprint to resist.

What i think is that space since its very cold may have a not even measurable amount of humidity but the moon and space are very old so i think is that since it has no atmoshphere the moisture just built up on the surface after billions of years and thats how you get the footprints!

Once that happened, we slowly the lost the motivation to go back, as it is expensive to do so and we didn't have much reason to. Especially these days. Problem is.....they didn't disprove the actual hoaxers theory....the hoaxers don't contend that a footprint "couldn't" be made in Moon dust.....Hoaxers like myself say there wouldn't have been enough dust around and below the LEM, due to the fact that the majority of any Moon dust under the LEM would have been evacuated by the LEM's rocket exhaust, to make a footprint or at least a whole one like in the NASA photo .

Incorrect. For all practical purposes, the Moon has no atmosphere. The pressure on the surface of the Moon is effectively zero. After leaving the rocket nozzle, the gas would expand quickly. The exhaust did, however, clear some of the loose, upper layers of dust from the area immediately around the landing site (as can be seen in 16mm film and photos under the engine bell).

@VideoVerifying That's because the sand on the beach you are refering to is so "deep"......drive along the coast....where there is no sand / beach and only rock is where finally all the sand was washed away or there never was any to begin with.....really the point is that there is no "blast crater" made by the LEM's rocket thrust during landing.....in fact the dust around the LEM is not disturbed at all and there is no dust on the LEM's landing gear what so ever. If the moon dust was very fine like powder, then the landing rockets would have moved the dust so far from the lander that making footprints would have been impossible. If the moon dust is the same as used in the vacuum then they cant go back there for this reason.

1998- Lunar Prospector (unmanned) circled, mapped, sent crashing to crater to find water in crash plume, and didn't. $63 mill.
Actually the last lander expedition probe that ever touched the moon was Luna 24 in '76. Next probe (Hiten) not until 1990.

About the footprints-- just go to Iraq in August when it is very very dry. The dust there is like talcum powder and makes absolutely perfect footprints, far better than earlier in the year when there is more moisture. Also, with less gravity, the edges of the footprint are not going to fall as easily. Busted!

with the footprint thing, here's how I would bust it: The dust on the moon's surface has been pulverized by tiny meteorites for billions of years with no atmosphere to burn them up. So the dust on the moon is super fine, probably close to what flour feels like. You can make a very distinct footprint in dry flour.
