try iceberg lake in glacier park,montana
i went walking out on a piece of ice/snow about 30 feet long by 10 feet wide
you can float around the lake on big snow blocks
my testis were not to be seen for the rest of the day

I went a few days ago and a guy went swmming when ice was forming on the surface!
