Un buen tributo para tan gran piloto. Dicen q entre grandes personas se crean las grandes historias y aqui convergen el tributo a Francois Cevert y el talento siempre sarcástico de RW en una interpretación muy buena.
To everyone who thinks "bob" is supposed to be Cevert... are you crazy?! Look, for a kick off, at the car Bob's driving... Red. Overalls, Nowhere near similar to Jackie's Tyrrell ones. It's just set in the glamour era of F1... lighten up people!
Yeah, Robbie Williams wasn't even born when Jackie Stewart drove his last season in F1. I doubt he grew up watching Prost and Senna, much less admiring the 70's in Formula 1.
Confundir la realidad con la ficcion no es lo mejor. Cevert fue un gran piloto frances de formula uno ,compañero de Steward en Tyrrel .Lamentablemente fallecido en un accidente en dicha categoria .Willians es un cantante norteamericano.
I wondered about the same question until I found following information: This video shall be a tribute to Jackie Stewart who is mainly (exepted some scenes) shown as a fictional person called "Bob Williams" (played by Robbie Williams) who achieves the same career like Stewart in this clip.

It seems to me that Robbie is simply showing his admiration for 70s F1 generally and for Jackie and Francois especially.

Dois ídolos assim?
Muito bem humorada a homenagem prestada por Robbie Willians ao inesquecível François Cevert.

at 2:22, the scene of the fire is a piece of the deadly Joseph Siffert, happened at Brands Hatch in 1971 during the "race of champions"

I dont think this is a tribute to Cevert. More to Sir Jackie I think. Although Francois is in the video, on the podium with "Bob" and Sir Jackie?
I think its in poor taste if this is meant as a tribute to Cevert.

the "fictional person" is not related to Jackie Stewart but to his teammate Francois Cevert.

That's cool---I'd never seen this before---Robbie Williams isn't all that big in North America.
Excellent work on the splicing of old and new footage. Is "Bob" really Cevert?----hard to say, but he sure looks like he's modelled after him....
Tribute to Francois or not, it is a great indirect tribute to one of racings greats, Sir Jackie Stewart, my first motor-racing hero...

so we might think this driver bob is cevert?

Tacky "Bob" Tacky. If I have to explain why, then you have no respect for Francois Cevert.
