They made a bad choice..and paid the price..They were not minors right? So, It was wrong for them to even drink and drive. No body was innocent here.. Every body did something wrong ..Friends let them leave behind the wheel....Guy who sold Alcohol didn't Check ID or did he? ..The driver who drove drunk...made the biggest mistake.The passengers should have known better too..Too many making the wrong choice at the same time..That's the problem here..
@TargetTeamMemer very true. no one was innocent. the three students were not old enough to buy alcohol. the 3 adults knew they were underage. this was a money making party for them. Kelli did not know the driver, she caught a ride with him via the other passenger. I dont believe Kelli knew he was drunk. most likey some of that was due to her own intoxication as well as not knowing him.
the dirty three. seems to me that they went to the dirty three to get booze. as friends. then blame it on the dirty three friends? look. its a two way street. the drank and died. don't blame it on the friends. as sad as it is. they chose to drink. don't blame it on the FRIENDS that you ask to get you booze.
@nothadnotbad: they didnt know them, these were ADULTS who passed out fliers to high school students- to drink in their home for profit- to minors.
so your homework before you try to impose your views on to a parent that has lost a child. i guess you felt differently when your child died. right? my daughter paid the ultimate price for drinking that night. what price did the 3 adults pay? NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

18 and 22 years old...
Old enough to have some responsability though ?
I knew my parents hated alcohol; I never drinked one single drop till I was an adult...
They were old enough to know what they were doing right ?
