They make max power around 6500rpms though, so no reason to over rev them real high. Both the CR500 and KX500.

Great place to ride . Back in the day i had a XR 75 that would climb anything out there with a fresh back tire, My Mom and Dad climb hills double on it, Funniest thing you would of had to of seen it , still makes me laugh . Need to get back out there soon.

Yeah that one hill is just a fun lil cakewalk. I just blipped up that one cruisin' in like mi-to-upper rpm's of 3rd. I soo gotta go back there now with the IRC M5B tire on that back. I'd finally be able to hookup.

Nice man, I like those 500s. There still the boss. The fourstroke motor belongs in quads. Bikes do better with two strokes, allways have.

4 strokes are ok. But it's just that personally... I find I ride faster and push harder on a 2 stroke. Plus the ALWAYS weigh a lil bit less than 4T's. And man... it's just like unleashing the fury oh Hell when you grab a handful of KX throttle!!!

I'm not happy with the sound quality on my setup because the adapter for connecting to the ARCHOS has an in-line mic on it. If exposed to outside, wind-noise is ridiculous. I want to be able to route mic near my mouth for on-the-fly narration, but haven't bothered to d!ck with it and modify it yet.

The other video of the HillClimb at JawBone you should be able to hear the engine. I have to turn the raw audio way down 'cause the KX has such a strong sound!

What helmet cam are you using? The video is actually pretty good quality!

Viosport... I think the model designation was Action Cam III. The ARCHOS DVR can be set to higher bitrates, and even WideScreen 16:9. But personally I noticed occasional "hiccups" in the recordings when I had all the settings to max resolutions.

How is the sound quality? I love the music choices you've added to your videos, but could you be so kind as to put up the same video with just the natural sound? I love your bike too. I got to fire a KX500 (with a 540cc big bore kit) up today for the first time and wow what an awesome machine, almost life changing even!

So the kit you are using is the Archos Helmet Camcorder with the Viosport AC III right?
