i agree. everything i have read states that you just turned your 7mmRMag into a .270 but are paying more for ammo. there was a reason the barrel was built 26''.
but doesn't a 24" barrel make the 7mm mag almost like a .270 now? if i am correct, in order to achieve the 7mm mag's full potential, the barrel has to be 26"+
@yourleftnut1 no, a longer barrel will improve ballistics, but as long as you don't use managed recoil rounds, the 7mm will outperform [in long range accuracy] better then any other caliber
Did you see him get knocked on his ass from recoil? No... thats because he was shouldering the rifle. the recoil was managed by the way of his shooting position. He did it right..this guy has been shooting a long time and knows about recoil.
He did do it all right, but you can tell in the video he has a heaver barrel or something, i have a 7mm rem. Mag. and have been shooting for over 10 years, still the gun jumps up on me a little not enough to effect my shot. and hes not even holding it down in the front. he got more stuff on it to cushion the recoil, and also lowering the noise, it sounds like a .22 rifle.
which makes me believe hes got a heavier barrel to cushion the recoil, limit its jump, & lower the volume.
CUTTING THE BARREL DOSENT MAKE IT QUICKER YOU FUCKING FAG

I have a 7MAG and its a lazer at long range.
The recoil is not all that bad..mine is in a A5 stock and a Broughton Barrel.
A real good Moose Rifle..I like getting up in the hill country in Northern Ontario
and watch open areas.. I have filled many Moose and Deer tags with it..
is over 9lbs, I have used it for Caribou for over 10 years

Just because he held the gun right doesn't mean he's been shooting a long time at all.

Is the 7mm bigger than a .22 bolt action rifle or smaller???
plz respond
privitpilot101 2 years ago
guess.
dannymaxx510 2 years ago
A.22 is a pinkie size rifle and calibre great for new shooters.
a 7MAG is a very large high recoil fast/and flat calibre thats larger than a .22.
keefer2111 2 years ago
OMG is a hell of alot bigger lmao a .22 makes the 7mm look like a monster. The 7mm Mag is just under the .300 Mag

In the field you do not use perfect technique. You adjust to the enviroment and use whats available.
