  • Wow !! Connie had a brilliant voice as young as 13 .. Wonderful talented lady ...

  • I love these rarities that you have!! I love Connie Francis' version of this song <3! Her voice is just so grand at any age..

  • Excellent slideshow Ken! Oh how I wish Connie would have permitted Bear Family to continue releasing her catalog. To have it ALL on CD would have been such an honor for her fans!

  • @wrdane Thanks, Will! And I agree....maybe we'll be lucky and we will all have a full collection of CDs one day.

  • nice ken, never saw those pics before, too bad there isnt a kinescope of this.or maybe

    there is?

  • @chompo7 Hi, Joe! It would be so great if there IS a kinescope. But I don't know. I scanned the photos from one of the box sets I own and tried to create an impression of "movement." If you ever find out about a kinescope, let me know - and I'll do the same for you! Thanks!! -- Ken

  • @AConnieChannel one the 2 bear family boxes?lol i have both and i NEVER saw those?haha

  • an interesting document, grazie Ken. I enjoy for this.

  • @FAUSTORICCARDO You're welcome, Fausto. Thanks for watching!

  • Oh yes!!! Thank you for this. She was a litle girl. When she becames famous 1-1-1958, she was watching "American Bandstand" in her house, when Dick Clark said: There is no doubt about it, she is heading to the number one spot. and he played "Who sorry now?" she was issue several months ago. Because of this next day her life chabged.

  • I enjoyed this wonderful audio clip and the pictures.

    --------Ellen

  • @Shabannie Thanks, Ellen! It's good to hear from you, as always!

  • Gosh Dear Ken ... ya're so precious to all of us to bring to our attention and ears these wayback Connie's prints of her girlie times. I didn't know about her being a "little stars" and that comment here about 11 Presidents, also is like a long time ago history... yet for me Connie's age has stopped with my love for the Where the Boys are :-)

    Deep thanks from Budapest ...Aggie

  • @laggie24 Hi, Aggie! I'm glad you enjoyed this one! And I always appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

  • No New York, the city she began was Newark/NJ

  • @robertowlalbuquerque Oh, yes, I know she was in Newark. But the program she was on ("Startime Kids") was seen in the great metro area. And this performance was in New York. At any rate, she was a trouper and a veteran performer by the time she did this show.

  • selten so schöne Aufnahmen von Connie gesehen wundervoll Udo ein Fan aus

    Deutschland

  • @Vera56072 Hello! I do not speak German, but I do wish to thank you for your kind note. Thank you for watching my video! Sincerely, Ken, San Antonio, Texas

  • This is amazing!

Connie was singing on television when Truman was President!

    That was 11 Presidents ago!

  • @MrYellowlabs It really is something, isn't it? Connie has been a trouper all that time, too. What a talent and what a wonderful person she is.

  • @AConnieChannel Other than Tony Bennett {who is at least a dozen years older than Connie}, I cannot think of any other singer alive today who might have performed on TV during the Truman Administration.

  • A musical gem...now in youtube ready to be watched by all Conniès fans...
