Aeroflot is a very nice airliners, they got it all md-11's , ilyishin's, tupolev's, boeing's, and airbus planes. Now that is an airliner, I hope they buy some A380's with their sheme on it.Slava Rossiya from Europe
I flew aboard Aeroflot during the mid 1980's - about 15,000 miles throughout the then Soviet Union. I attempted to fly aboard as many Soviet aircraft as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience although the service quality of cabin crews varied greatly. I suspect however, that many of them were more shy of Westerners than deliberately unpleasant! Their cabin equipment was also of mediocre quality but I know its much, much better today. Overall, I'd love to do it all over again.
First you need to struggle yourself throught the Russian, English en Dutch nformation about the Aeroflot, than you will see the Russian anthem in English.
i have received accounts of TSA personnel detaining NASA personnel, especially in Florida, while permitting weapons to pass through inspection, even weapons passed by TSA personnel! the liquid tube, snow globe, etcetera ban is ridiculous! TSA and U.S. air lines should be replaced by MOSSAD and EL AL air lines and personnel,it would even save the U.S. money! my life for ISRAEL, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Gevatron!!!! CHAZAK VE'EMATS!!!! SAYERET MATKAL!!!! ISRAEL!!!!!!!!
You've got it all wrong about TSA, sayeretmatkal. Security is NOT what the TSA is all about! The reason for their existence is to train Americans how to be herded like cattle and be treated like slaves. Bush didn't trash habeas corpus and posse comitatus for nothing! In order to compel mass relocation of civilian populations, using militarized police, it's best to have them trained to be slave cattle as early as possible. The idiocy of forbidding snow globes et al is harassment for its own sake.
at the momemt, i cannot trust a single one of the U.S. air services, i refuse to fly them! however, i can truly recommend as an anti -terror individual and former SAYERET MATKAL these air lines- EL AL, AEROFLOT, LUFTHANSA, COREA AIR, JAL(Nippon), and possibly AIR FRANCE(greatly improved in anti terror techniques). the air line companies of the U.S. are in ruin and decline, incompetent, and if they ever caught a terrorist,it would be by a passenger, not their personnel or TSA personnel!
From my experience, it offers the second best food, has very reliable connections, no delays, bad Sheremetyevo airport, too strict with extra weight, very nice to fly the russian planes, friendly and "rational" staff, not very big queues on terminals. I've flown with more than 20 companies so far..
agreed, sheremetyevo terminal 2 is quite outdated, but in jan 2009 Aeroflot is moving all its flights to the all-new terminal 3, which is IMO going to be very good
As far as I know, the Aeroflot has not Airbus 330 and B757. The only airbus they have are 319, 320 and 321 series. Aeroflot has B767. They often are used for Transatlanic flights to the United States of America. I looked to the flags of the Aeroflot and Transaero, and the colours look like similair at the first sight. However, The Russian flag is White, Blue and Red, the colours of Transaero are Red, White and Blue, like the French flag.
I don't know. I remember seeing a Boeing 757 in Canada with a Russian flag on it. I also know Aeroflot had Boeing 777s on lease but those were returned. But thanks for the reply.
Can somebody please tell me what happned to Aeroflot's A330 & Boeing 757s?
Did Aeroflot ever lease Airbus 330s? And yes I also saw a Boeing 757 with a russian flag at toronto airport. Or maybe it's transaero I dont know does transaero have B757?

Good idea, but what are the the Airbuses doing there? Кому нужны эти "Playstation", это же не самолёты!
