@MarshallTK You are indeed correct, the viper is faster just as a F1 car is faster than a NASCAR, they are in different leagues Viper would be like an S class car compared to an A class GT3RS, but that is how I see it, I am not sure exactly how much hp either car has but im sure the Viper is 6xx and the GT3 is 3xx...so thats a little diffence haha.

The 911 GT3 RS (3.8L 450HP) does 0-60 in 3.8 and 0-100 in 8.2 and laps nurburgring in 7 minutes 33 seconds.if you want to compare it to a porsche with similar power to the viper take the GT2 RS (3.8L 620 HP) gets 0-60 in 3.1 and 0-100 in 6.7 and laps nurburgring in 7:18 so it depends on what you like.

maybe I'm stupid, crazy, insane... whatever you want to call it, but I would rather take a Carrera S over this car. It's just too much, and you could go faster for less in the new GTR, so if you want this because of it's speed potential, then that's out the window.

Porsche ARE sports cars, but to me, for some reason, it's not all about having the fastest version of everything, but rather knowing that I drive a quality made and well designed automobile that I can enjoy if I want.

I'd rather spend my money on a standard Carrera S, too (If I had the money to buy any of the two). This is nothing "insane" because the GT3 and even more the RS are track cars with a bonebraking ride, no AC, no rear seats, no luggage store room.

The Carrera S is an every day car, and I'd also feel safer driving it, because it won't bite my head off if I do a slight driving mistake. The GT3 doesn't tollerate fools.

Also the CS has a sexy ass, not as intimidating as the rear wing of the GT3.
