Was just reading Lamentations 3...can't help but weep, thinking of my Lord's longsuffering, compassion, mercy. What a God I serve...loving me despite my faults and failures, there to urge me on to that next higher plain of holiness in serving Him. I need Him, his faithful forgiveness today, everyday, 'til His soon coming return. I'm glad He changes not, and that I am not consumed. I'm glad He saved my soul! Praise His holy name!

My song book shows a completely different melody to this song. Does anyone know which one is more popular - this one or the one by William Marion Runyan (1870-1957)? I personally think that this version is much better :) (I'm supposed to be playing this at a funeral soon and I'm not sure which version they'll be wanting).

This is probably one of the greatest hymns ever written. Its actually over 80 years old. Fernando's version is so soothing to the ear. It really gets you in the mood for worship. Great video.
