Where the hell do you people get your information? This car will be no where near $40k. Chevy plans to sell 100k of these per year, the only way possible to do that is to price it with the Mustang. The V6 should start around $20k, the base V8 around $26k and the top of the line LS3 at $30k. That is of course for the hard top, add several thousand for the convertable.
