Mercy killing, or euthanasia is an dangerous idea and should never be a loved, because it is, in reality impossible to administer.
In a time of economic crisis, massive cut down on the public health care sector, hospitals, euthanasia will be misused on patients that is regarded as not valuable on the labour market. Especially old people will be “euthanized” by the doctors for economic and resource viewpoints. But also long time unemployed, people on sick pensions, homeless and groups a like.
If Kevorkian had a differen't approach to it, i wouldn't mind it. BUT, commiting suicide in front of the family? WTF. Behind closed curtains and maybe a different way besides the lethal injection technique.

i am in total agreeance with Dr. Kev. My husband, and my sons, and his father (R.I.P.), AND his fathers 5 brothers, all have died or committed suicide from a genetic disease called HUNTINGTONS CHOREA. we are looking into moving to Oregon due to their "death with dignity" law. good for you woman! Dr. Kev can use all the support he can get
i'm sorry to hear that. it's easy for people who know nothing about medicine (almost everyone) to point a finger and say euthanasia is always wrong. but some diseases are so horrifying and cause so much suffering that there are currently no other practical options.
everyone and anyone who disagrees should, in my opinion, be funding or directly doing scientific research to cure these diseases so that innocent people don't HAVE to choose death as an alternative to a lifetime of terrible suffering
You're definitely not the future of rap, but point well taken. Dr. Kevorkian was misunderstood by so many and was convicted by a vocal minority in my opinion.
i would just ask that if you are kind enough to write to me in the future and are going to refer to our bleoved Creator that you captialize the first letter of His name.
