  • Awesome skills!

  • please try 7 club doubles!!!!!!!!

  • @adamdubyl Vova did try 7 club doubles long ago. And I have a video of him doing about 10 catches of that. But Vova doesn't want to post it on the net.

  • Where building was Vova juggling in starting at 1:12 and continuing through the rest of the video?

  • @jellyfish912 This is some kind of a local Cultural Center in Penza, Russia.

  • is that vova's house

  • @m4n52k10 Where?

  • @Galchenko the place at 1:12

  • @m4n52k10 No, this is some kind of a local Cultural Center in Penza, Russia.

  • @Galchenko oh cool looks great for juggling in :)

  • Vova's thoughts at 2:36 "BAD BALL!"

  • Who's the KGB? Are they like the police force?

  • @Jamony1 KGB is the Russian-language abbreviation for Committee for State Security.

  • lol he recoverd good and i still cant juggle five balls only 3 and 4 =[

  • Very cool, i like the 3 single spin backcrosses...

  • 2:47 How many clubs? 8??

  • @Mushi98

    No, 7.

  • These two are really good jugglers. Is the dad a juggler too?

  • @PebkaSkeemo

"These two are really good jugglers."

    Who two?

"Is the dad a juggler too?"

No, he is not a juggler.

  • @Galchenko "Who two?" Vova and Olga! When did Vova become interested in juggling?

  • @PebkaSkeemo

    "Vova and Olga!"

There is no Olga in this video.

"When did Vova become interested in juggling?"

Well, maybe at age of 11.

  • @Galchenko

Yeah, I know she's not in the video. I've been watching a lot of these videos. They're awesome though. :D

  • whats the music? thats awesome and ive been trying to find it. no luck. thanks :)

  • The second song is "Chateau" from Matrix movie. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the first one.

  • Ouch! now i understand why it was hard for vova to juggle.

  • i was just wondering has vova ever tried overhead throws

  • Yes, he tried overhead throws.

  • omg

i have never seen vova juggle rings before i thought he didnt do rings

  • yep same here

  • POOOOOR VOVA

  • wut is the kgb

  • "wut is the kgb"

KGB is the Russian-language abbreviation for Committee for State Security.

  • Well, you could say his ring juggling is better now.

  • nah

  • First of all, how did you see my comment so fast? Coinsidence that you watched this video right after me? And second, why would you say that? He's clearly a lot lot better now.

  • First of all, i saw your comment clearly fast because i can do magic! and yes okay. I agree that his realationship with rings are a bit more bright now, but he isint a ring juggler. So why should we care.

  • Because veriety and versatility is a great skill.

  • man vova is soo good

just wondering, whats the song from the matrix at 0:56 actually called?

    thanks

  • "whats the song from the matrix at 0:56 actually called?"

I guess this is "Chateau" from Matrix movie.

  • thanks, i love this track, really motivates u when ure juggling :)

  • Hi vova my name is karl. You are signing my papers of cirque de quebec . It's very nice video . i'm practice body trows and is very hard.

  • how are balls vova juggled on the time 2:31 - 2:37 ? 11 balls ?

  • "11 balls ?"

    No, only 9 balls.

  • "i see your new video where the meaning is you are the best ever!"

Unfortunately, Vova doesn't read YouTube comments. At least on my videos. I personally don't remember any Vova's video where he claimed that he is the best ever. Where did you get it from? If you mean his last promo video, then it was TIME magazine who said that.

  • your still an awesome juggler even after the crash there was nothing you needed to correct cause you are awesome

  • but my ring juggling is (probably because it was at such a low level that there wasn't that much to recover).

easy for you to say :) graet video!

  • I think its amazing he could juggle so well so soon after the accident, and the way the car looked it seems he was lucky not to hurt himself more

anyways, long time ago, but it just shows how determined he is.

  • "and the way the car looked it seems he was lucky not to hurt himself more"

You are right. He was VERY lucky.

  • I'm very glad, firstly for your family, it would be horrible, and secondly for the world to lose one of its greatest jugglers at such a young age. I hope he will have a full and happy career ahead of him

  • Thanks, Aaron!

  • haha, KGB. How is Vova with 10 balls? Has he ever really tried?

  • "How is Vova with 10 balls? Has he ever really tried?"

    No, he never tried it.

  • hi vova did u break your arm or fracture it and what is the first song

    thanks

    jc

  • "hi vova"

Unfortunately, Vova doesn't read YouTube comments. At least on videos posted by me.

"did u break your arm or fracture it"

No, but he got more than 20 stitches on his arm.

    "what is the first song"

    I don't know.

  • LOL

    Was that really the KGB?

  • "Was that really the KGB?"

No, that was the Russian police.

  • where is this?

the best part is all those people in the background passing by, watching him. those officers looked amazed. good luck with vova's continued recovery

  • "where is this?"

This is the so-called "School of Arts" or a cultural center which contains many studios like numerous dance studios, pantomime theatre, circus studio, vocal studios, and many more.

"good luck with vova's continued recovery"

He recovered long ago, in winter 2006. This video was taped in November 2006.

  • Those bruises look very painful i'm so sorry that this happened but i'm glad that he is better now I was wondering was he the only person in the car?

  • "I was wondering was he the only person in the car?"

Yes, fortunately, he was the only person in the car.

  • what does the KGB stand for?

  • "what does the KGB stand for?"

KGB is the Russian-language abbreviation for Committee for State Security.

  • "what does the KGB stand for?"

Roughly, the KGB's operational domain encompassed functions and powers like those exercised by the United States' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the counter-intelligence (internal security) division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National Security Agency, the Federal Protective Service, and the Secret Service in the United States, or by the twin organizations MI5 and Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) in the United Kingdom.

  • god bless vova ! :] vova inspired me to juggle so much ! he is my idol juggler ! (: how i wish i can meet in one day & ask him to coach me. hahaha

  • Hallelujah!! Wonderful physiotherapy! Thanks for sharing this!

  • what song is that

  • The second song is "Chateau" from Matrix movie. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the first one.

  • i luv it at 1:38

  • when i messed my arm up i couldnt juggle for about a weak to maybe more but i did lol i just used the time to perfect 3 a balls in my left hand a 2 clubs with my left hand ( long time ago when i couldt even do 6 balls) but one time i hit the club on my cast and it really hurt lol ........i cryed...........

  • I understand you, Robert, when it happened Vova hit his injured arm with a club, it was pretty painful...

  • ow he should be careful it might make it worse again!

is the re ever a worry of repetative strain injury?

  • "is the re ever a worry of repetative strain injury?"

No, never was much worry of this.

  • oh. i thgouht u cou;d get it from doing anything repeatively without a break. i got it in my finger from uing the scrool wheel to much, but i think its ok now cus i stoped using it

  • What is odd about Repetitive Stess Injury in juggling is that the people who juggle the most don't have it. Michelle Rochais got injured only when she got to seven of her heavy batons; David Cain and Michael Ferguson got it with 5-7-ball backX's only when they got much older than most jugglers are. Sensible training and sensible variety of training seem to be the keys to avoiding what "should" be a juggling hazard.

    Now, driving a car....

  • Do you juggle Mr Galchenko and what happened to Vovas arm?

  • "Do you juggle Mr Galchenko..."

Just for fun, 15 minutes a day.

"...and what happened to Vovas arm?"

You can read it in his blog on Vova and Olga's website. You can find the link in VovaGalchenko profile.

  • From the time you started juggling how long was it until you did a 5 club 5 up 360?

    Lionel Woolf

  • "From the time you started juggling how long was it until you did a 5 club 5 up 360?"

Who? I am not Vova Galchenko, I am his father, Vasili Galchenko. For Vova it took about 10 years.

  • What is the name of the second song???

    Lionel Woolf.

  • This is "Chateau" from Matrix movie.

  • can vova juggling with 8 clubs?

  • No, and even didn't try it.

  • cool, how many balls at 2:32?

  • 9 balls

  • well that was awesome. do you juggle anything dangerous?

  • He doesn't, but he can juggle with torches, knives, etc.

  • yeh there is no point to adding danger, i just find it less nice ot watch cus its too tense. im already tense that they might get nervous and drop even a normal club

  • is that juggling take place an your house?

  • In the beginning of the video Vova juggles in our apartment. Then in the local theatre.

  • Does anyone know what the siteswap was at 2:40?

  • 966

  • Awesome. Now that I know what it is it makes a lot more sense to me lol. I don't think I've ever pulled off a siteswap with anything more than a 7 (in 7531, and that was balls too).

  • vova you and your sister are my heros

    dont stop juggling

  • hey i saw you juggle rings in this video :P

  • Mr. Galchenko i think he means does vova make money of juggling at like shows and stuff.

  • If Thomasdragon means that, then yes, he does.

  • Does Vova earn money of this?

And does he go to school atm study ?

  • Sorry, I didn't quite understand your question. Earn money of what?

"And does he go to school atm study ?"

Vova was accepted to the local university in California and he is going to start his studies in September. I hope I understood your question right.

  • hhaha i love when the janitor comes and starts cleaning where vova was...

  • i broke my hand and i know what its like to not be able to juggler for a while. i got so bored. nice stuff

  • nice recovery i like the rings and 9 balls and some of the new 5 club tricks

  • this is the first video iv seen vova use rings

  • The KGB doesn't exist anymore; it was replaced by the Russian Republic's FSB following the 91 coup by Soviet hardliners. Unfortunately, Kryuchkov, chairman of the KGB at the time, was, along with Yanayev, Pugo, and Pavlov, an orchestrator of the coup and lost favor with Yeltsin because of it. Although, some say Yeltsin hated Kryuchkov personally because he refused in March 1991 to allow the Russian Republic to organize it's own KGB and that's why Yeltsin disbanded them.

    Anyway, good juggling.

  • You are right. The KGB doesn't exist anymore. It is replaced by the FSB.

In this video it is neither the KGB nor the FSB. This is the Russian police.

  • love the cleaning lady at the end :P

  • ...

I know this is a really dumb question...

    but i have to ask...

no matter how igrnorant this may seem, or is in this case-

But, that wasn't the KGB... right... humor... *gulp*

  • Well, it was a joke. That wasn't KGB, but it was a Russian police. Their professional holiday was coming in a few days. And they were rehearsing some stuff near that hall where Vova practiced.

  • It's me again. I have to complement the filmmaking and editing skills of these pieces. I am in a television class (CHSTV, go ahead search for it on this very site) and I am impressed!

  • wow... he has a 12 pack :O lol, he's buff!

  • Wow, I didn't even know there was an accident. You're strong in both body and will.

  • Damn! you're AWESOME Vova! you're a real fighter! ;-)

  • have you ever tried cigar boxes???

  • Vova never tried cigar boxes as far as I know.

  • What camera is used in these videos, and who usually films them?

  • In this particular video a webcam from Vova's computer was used for shooting 7 balls and 3 club moves at home. Other moves were taped by the cheapest digital camcoder Panasonic NV-DS28 bought in 2002.

    Usually I film them.

  • That webcam must have some incredible quality filming... My shots never get that good, even with my $780 digital cam

  • "That webcam must have some incredible quality filming..."

I don't think so. It is a standard webcam built in his iMac. Most likely it is software Vova used further.

  • Here we go again, I cannot play longer than till about 2 minutes; damn school laptop.

  • This time it works for me perfectly. :-)

  • Now I am on my home computer, let's see if it works...

    It does.

  • Nice runs with the balls. Good to see you working on all three props. Thanks a bunch for the videos.

    -Miika

  • that would stink not being able to juggle for a week

  • Try getting one of those too-much-juggling damages.

  • Awesome, Vova!

  • amazing recovery. did it hurt at first?

  • Sure, a lot!
