tells a lot about my story. I also lost a baby, these types of films remind me of him a lot. wanted to have seen my son, but I dared not. I did not dare to see him! and today I cry so much.
im so confused I love the movie hate the ending so the girl who got shot in the head set her up by talking to her about the baby then she comes and hugs her at the end WHAT?
i dont know how i came across this movie by miss clicking but i watch it and i have to say that this is a fucking awesome movie and i enjoyed ever moment and if any one knows any other movies like this please tell me this movie should have way more views then 5,000 so under rated Peace
it's no wonder alicia felt nothing from the shooting, a part of her already died :'( makes you wonder why people like her are the way they are, nobody cares about the story behind the book cover.
Oh, how many years I've been lookin' for this movie!!! I watched it just one time many years ago. I watched. watched whole the movie, but at the end I cried so much, and couldn't stop crying. Yeah, really great movie and one of my favor. the most favorite scene of the movie, the meaning of this movie is showed at the end.
Thank you all. Thank to all film-makers that they think about kinomans)))
this scene is so damn terrible. Why the hell would you share all this with kids you hate? why not keep all this in private? it's a terrible ending to a terrible movie. full stop.
i love this movie so much...i love the ending it determines me to graduate..i am working ..did not enter the college until 2007...although it is a long ..! late but..at least..i realize life is so precious..
The DVD used to be sold at my old Pathmark job. I think they had about 2 or 3 copies on their shelf when I saw it there, but at this point, you might have better luck with Amazon possibly. I read the back cover and that's how I got into the movie. So when it went on cable, I saw it.
Only one that was spared was the one that shared suffering with the shooter- its like 'jelly donut' from Full Metal Jacket who goes ballistic once he's ostracized- are we that needy that we need inclusion that desperately? "Sweet Surrender" that's the response that arouses tears and anaylsis in me-it doesn't mean anything at all....the existential reply-maybe its a matter of creating magic all on one's own through music, timespace travel,or even a tot of gin"otra copita" as Hemmingway would say
Impactful film-shows the shared experience of suffering in the modern age of detachment and narcissism- where one holds high expectations and meets up with profound dissapointment lossOh to only reach out to those who feel so rejected before they deliver the ultimate disconnect-what might our world experience be like?
Anyway thanks so much posting! Columbine ricochetted not only bullets but questions about our own human condition like why we don't bond enough w/ each other before its too late-
Most people don't understand how beautiful the ending truly is.
My baby died too. And everyday since all i've wanted to do is break down and never ever have to get back up again.
Just cry and cry and cry until I cry myself to sleep. But I haven't. I can't.
And the power in that scene, is remarkable. How she runs after her and holds her while she finally lets go of everything . . . . . . it's perfect . . . . . .
@LylaMari I understand how beautiful it is. I have lost a baby as well....although, mine was a miscarriage (2 of them actually). So it's not exactly the same. I think it would be worse to get to hold your baby....I just saw this and I love this movie. It's really a great ending. Kudos for keeping your head up!
omg, i cried at the end. becuase just three years ago i know someone in a school i attned die in a car accident. it was hard after he did, and i just moved a few months after everything happned...if i moved a year later i would still be close with the friends i had then. i cried like a baby at the end. but it is a great movie.
i also thank you for sharing it with us,its a great movie and everybody should watch it,could you please tell me whats the song of the "graduation"part:)?
:'( this was a good movie
