  • Alright I understand needing to come up with things to use to call space junk but what the heck does a witch have anything to do with space junk? I saw it several times and yeah its offensive. I think they need to leave their religious ideas out of this. Nuts, bolts, and paint chips fine; witches and other religious things no!

  • Scientist and engineers are amazing. They will 'create' a way to remove the space junk and probably cause more harm in another way. So smart and forward thinking, yet so clueless and shortsighted.

  • yes, because we have nothing to worry about other than space junk.

  • wait - "air resistance slows their orbit" holy shit there's air resistance in space! So all that stuff about it being a vacume was a lie!

  • @ravz90 The space shuttle and ISS typically operate in the thermosphere, which is only 240 miles from the surface, within the gas envelope of the planet. While you can't breathe it, it's not a "vacume;" you don't get vacuum until you are above the exosphere, over 6,213 miles from the surface.

  • 1:21 how did they know it was the spatula?

  • science

  • They have space trackers to be sure so incase it doesnt burn out they know where itll land!
