Take a closer look at the segment where the camera supposedly zooms in on the hand and the stick.

By observing his performance... I have managed to deduce the trick based from 3 possibilities:

1) The supposed "stick" he wields may be made out of light material (paper product by chance) and it wrapped with a double sided tape (look at the vid closely)

2) His hand (a small portion) may have some sticking agent.

3) His missing left hand finger which is neatly hidden behind his right hand.

Nice try. But if anyone has a brain enough, they will notice at 0:36 that there are only 3 fingers visible under the thumb. The only other place a finger could be is beneath your other hand holding up the stick and that is your index finger. At 0:45, you can see how you bend your wrist to shift back your index finger.
