@snth3 Its not as simple as that. The processor won't have 4 separate cores. If you had 4 threads but 2 cores, running 4 separate apps would have each core running at have speed on 1 of the 4 apps, which frankly screams slowdown.

The i3 is not quad core. It's dual core.

@onthenetgear Yes and no, it's a dual that can emulate a quad when needed too. Maybe they should just call it a tri-core.
