It's a straw-man argument that Dawkins uses when he makes all belief in God the same. The Bible teaches that there's true religion and false religion. Therefore the Bible is anti religion if its false. It doesn't place non-belief (atheism) in a neutral position, it labels it under all the other false beliefs. You can't expect a Christian to give up the Bible based a theory that seems to be failing scientific scrutiny. The God Delusion offers nothing new.

It's a straw-man argument that Dawkins uses when he makes all belief in God the same. The Bible teaches that there's true religion and false religion. Therefore the Bible is anti religion if its false. It doesn't place non-belief (atheism) in a neutral position, it labels it under all the other false beliefs. You can't expect a Christian to give up the Bible based a theory that seems to be failing scientific scrutiny. The God Delusion offers nothing new.

He is afraid that Dawkins has heard it all and can own him with mere canned counter-arguments. So he tries to stay ahead by monopolizing the interview.
It's not even his usual thing. I've seen him grind on the same argument over and over when it's a good one. He just knows he's outmatched here.

A good debater makes his point by letting the other side complete a thought, then explain the faults in it or offers a different perspective.
O'Reilly is neither, because he did neither.
