Nice!! This would be a few minutes east of Hobart and Merrillville. You are actually not too far from Valparaiso which is where I grew up in, and you are not too far from Wayne Jct. Where it meets with 2 Norfolk Southern tracks.

That's a shame. Usually during the afternoon, trains slow down until early evening. Chesterton, a railfan told me you get a high traffic volume between 11am to 1pm during the day. I went out at 3pm, traffic was running smoothly on that NS track.
