I like Vitas, however I would like him more if he wasn't lip syncing. There is a distinct difference in sound when someone is singing live and when they're just miming to a track. Besides, in case people don't notice, most live performances are accompanied by some sort of band or at least a couple musicians. Rarely do singers ever sing to an instrumental track. Vitas definitely loses points for this one.

According to most of the things I have read, his mother died several years ago (not sure when). Some of the songs on a couple of his albums are dedicated to or written about her. I don't know when this was taped, but it looks more recent.

I'm certainly not an expert--I just discovered this amazing talent a few months ago. However, if you look at the dates given for the clips, most of the ones with shaved head are 2001 or 2002. The most recent was just released, and he has hair in it. He is definitely awesome.
