Phil's music was/is miles ahead of,( and so much better than), 99.9% of any other heavy rock groups today .The reason is that they are often great melodic songs with accomplished lyrics played with aggression skill and passion and sensitivity .Most rock bands since Lizzy get by using excessive volume and crass showmanship to sell/cover their inferior efforts !

This recording is from The Peel Sessions which were recorded between 1972 & 1977. The album wasn't released until 1994 and is pretty rare I think. Frankie Miller is singing along with Phil. My al time favourite recording of my all time favourite song.
