There are as many ways to make tortilla soup as there are cooks making it. There's simply no wrong way. I do it the cowboy way which is to never make anything that takes longer to cook than it does to eat.

I hope that's real chicken broth, and not that stuff with msg. My family buys the organic chicken or beef paste. Just add water.
