  • you can go 50+mph with one monster mamba motor running 6s lipo...so why have two motors?

  • Listen, all you idiot doubters, I am one of the "founding fathers" of this over-powered brushless on land stuff, along with the JANG, Promod, Outkast666, etc. While I still have the site up, check out all my early 2000's speed-tests at rcnuts [dawt] com/speedtests.htm

  • that doesnt look like 50 that looks stock or less

  • LOL! Thanks for the laugh. Wrong.

  • Absolutely pointless. 2 motors, 24 cells...? WHY? TOo much weight, thats whats slowing you down.

  • does anyone know how fast is 50 mph or 80km/h?

its way too faster from what we see in this video...

  • Yes is more fast than the video.

  • FAIL!!! Not 50mph! I get 40mph tops on my E maxx and I think Ive got you beat. Check out my video.

  • LOL

  • FAIL!!!!! Not 50mph....My E Maxx does 40mph tops currently. I think Ive got you beat, check the video on my page.

  • How much does it cost to upgrade the E-maxx to brushless? I'm kinda new to this.

  • If you have the New Waterproof E-Maxx #3905 it will cost about $260 for the NOVAC 6.5 HV brushless setup. If you have the Older E-Maxx #3906 it will cost more because you will NEED to put Steel Idler gears in the Tranny and Upgrade your Driveshafts and Axles

  • no dude... im well more new then you. wtf does bruchless even meen???

  • it has no brushes thus it cannot break by burning out brushes and there is absolutely no break in.

  • about 300 dollars and more if you buy better batterys

  • wait....300 dollars is only if you get dual brushless.

  • 299.99$ at tower for a mamba monster bl

  • 5s with 1 x neu and MMM would rape this.

  • thats plop

  • what kind of ESC setup are you running? dual mamba max?

  • hey i have a question

sry i just started elctric im used to nitro

will a mamba max 7700 and a 11.1v 4800mah lipo and a mamba esc be ok on an emaxx

and how mush run time do u think ill get?

    and how fast?

    thanks fo all the help!

  • emaxxes are 1/10 fyi

  • Not when they're stretched more than 2 inches and widened 1.5. Thanks for sharing the brilliantness though.

  • very true...just pointing out for those less brilliant..lol it was misleading. thanks for the specs though!

  • i find it hard to say that e-maxxs are 1/10...compare the specs to a hpi savage and they're VERY similar and a savage is 1/8

  • I beg to differ the new 3905 is really a 1/8th

the reason I say cause i can set it beside my savage x and it is larger than the savage it is wider and longer . So the older emaxx is 1/10th but the newer is 1/8th just like the New T-maxx is really a 1/8th

  • what sise baterys

  • lol,,,ok dude,,,you the man. go easy...good luck with your world record.

  • I didn't see no 50+,, maybe 35-40 tops

  • My fastest would do over 70. That was a stadium truck. My fastest eMaxx did just over 60. I was working on beating a record so everything was GPS tested including this one, numb-nuts.

  • lol,,,ok dude,,,you the man. go easy...good luck with your world record.

  • If you don't know who HiAmplidude is, you're a greenie who needs to check yourself. I was one of the pioneers of effective and extreme brushless land RC.

  • Use some taller gears, I'm sure you could get that sucker up to 60.

  • newly uploaded video of mine - check out one of my videos "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • Please tell me what motors and esc you are running. A website would be great!!!

  • 100% aftermarket yet still using tq3?

  • Yep, in this vid, my MultiPlex Profi Car 707 was down at the time.

  • What you using for diffs? I have ue 6 spyder sin my sm.

  • UE SuperMaxx as well rcnuts dawt com for more of my projects

  • Checked out the components on your site for the emaxx, must be pretty heavy...that bomb proof chassis looks strong, wonder how it compares in strength to the ue thunder. 8 spyder diffs too...pretty much necessary with the torque of a brushless system. What are you using for batts in this featured E?

  • If I remember correctly, this one was running custom 12 each (24 total) cells, Sanyo 3300 NiMH from promatch racing.

  • actually the truck is an 8th scale stock. its the body they call a 10th scale. a revo 3.3 is actually a 7th scale but an 8th scale body.

  • i got the brand new e maxx for christmas!!! its black and looks sweet. and its frickin fast and powerful!!!!

  • i thought you weren't suppose to run two brushless together? Dose it work good for you?

  • Each motor needs its own separate controller. Yes, it works great. But, I prefer 1 very big motor/controller over 2 smaller systems.

  • the e maxx is 1/10 scale

  • This truck is extended 2+ inches along with width and other increases that no longer qualifies it for 10th scale.

  • that looks like Sandia Mountains....

  • Good eye jock. It is the Sandia Mountains! Welcome to cozy Albuquerque.

  • So when can you build me one? haha!!

  • i believe that went 50+

the hacker motors can go fucking fast! i have the hacker E30 in my 18t

  • i have a hacker E-30 in my 18T and it hauls ass!

  • cool vid.

  • wow u fucking retards, duals hackers with 24 cells of raw power and you don't believe that it went 50!?!?! your all a bunch of fucking noobs.

  • No kidding. HAHAHA. I wish I had some footage of my faster truck doing a 60.1 MPH pass. That was something to behold. I do have some decent dirt passes with that other truck though. Check out my other vids.

  • that car did not coust you 7 thousen

  • *SEVERAL* thousand. Not "seven" thousand. Read before posting. And, yes, this was an expensive project. This video is of one of my earlier experimental brushless trucks that had top-o' everything, plus prototype one-of-a-kind transmission gears, and prototype rear drive shaft made just for this truck.

  • it does not look fast because very long big land if it was in a small place it would look fast physics ( i think lol)

  • id say thats 50. i have a rc10b4 with novak 4.5 turn brushlees that does that weelieing. its kinda scary.

  • more like 30. at least

  • You people are amazing. GPS doesn't lie. I have another Maxx that did 60.1. The whole f'ing purpose of this project was to beat a world-record with a "bashable" monster truck.

  • They go 30 stock you dumb ass

  • what cause traxxas says so every so often there speed goes up as they come out new stuff so what u saying if traxxas doesnt sell it or state on site and or box that it isnt true or whatever you guys r noobs nothing else have fun driving ur stock junk truck while we enjoy record beatting speeds whats he to gain out of lying its not like he try saying 80 plus miles and hour

  • thats damn fast but its not 50

  • 50.4 MPH GPS onboard in the video. Would've been slightly faster not hauling the GPS unit. I've been over 60 MPH with a different truck on a single Hacker XL/Schulze waffle setup.

  • Nice. How much does a set up like this cost? I've had a Stampede since November last year and got a ton of use out of it. I got an XTM X-Cellerator and it's nice. I'd like to go electric again next time.

  • This truck was running dual BL motors and dual competition BL controllers. Very expensive. Not to mention all the drive-train beef-ups necessary to handle that kind of pressure. I won't say a dollar figure, but you can be sure it's in the several thousand $ range for this setup. I built a different truck with a single BL system that was actually more expensive and faster. Cheers -HiAmp

  • Damn...thats fast.I will put my AXI2820 into Inferno..I hope it would be as fast as your Emax:)

  • An axi in a car? Wouldn't it get filled with stuff, I mean they're super open...

  • Thats 50? I would say low 40's. :)

  • It is most definitely 50.4 MPH. The truck is huge which may result in scale looking "off". Those passes were made with a high-end Garmin GPS strapped to the truck for the sole purpose of accurately clocking speed for my web site. Thanks for your interest and comment.

  • That was sarcasm. :)

  • Ah... I gotcha... ;)
