This is a good documentary, but is also kinda depressing seeing what some of the actors/ actresses are doing today. Like the grandfather said he has wasted his life, and the mother is now old and kinda nutty and still wants to get back into acting :( It doesnt sound sad while im typing it, but watch it and you will see. (if you have a heart.)

Heck, anyTHING, really. 20 years is a long time; most people's lives take a few unexpected turns during those years, especially in the movie business. There's no doubt that the mother's a few French fries short of a Happy Meal, but overall I thought it was one of the most heartwarming documentaries I'd ever seen. Didn't expect all the parties involved to be such good sports about it--or the director to be so hilariously delusional.

He got really upset when he found out that the audience his movie was drawing were there just to make fun of it. The cast was really cool about the whole thing and the little kid (not so little now) looks NOTHING like he did in the movie!

I wish more people gave this movie a chance. It's a movie about Troll 2 in the same way Rocky is a movie about boxing it's not exactly about Troll 2 as it is about the people who made it and the irony of life. There's something so strangely moving about the irony of this film. I respect the Cladios Fargosso for his ambiton even if his movie sucked and I think George Hardy is such a genuinely nice and entertaining person to watch. Any person involved in media should see this(especially film)

Jus got done watching this. I found it interesting that all of the actors in Troll 2 had unique personas. Some of them were even mental but thats what made the movie so great. These were a buncha crazy people that genuinely believed they were making a great film.

@golopolo1 It's a documentary, so I don't think there's a 'plot' in the traditional sense. It's a documentary about a piece of pop culture phenomenon, and Troll 2 is quite popular and has quite a following. Maybe you would not be interested, but as someone who loves to study culture (and also hilariously bad films), I see this as an interesting look at how an initially insignificant piece of cinema become much more that that to so many people.
